These are called helping hands. This wall of helping hands was created after the bombing of the Murrah Building in OKC in 1995. These are children who sent letters and pictures of hope to those in mourning over their lost ones. This is a representation of hope and healing.

 

Here is a brief summary of what happened April 19, 1995.
