This is Aaron participating in his first horse show. He won first place. Well, he was the only one in his class...but he deserved to win anyway. He has been working so hard for the past three years it is great to finally see him in an actual show. I think he now has the bug. He will be showing again soon.
Bathtime for Vicky, a capuchin monkey. Vicky is part of a non-profit organization called Helping Hands . I had the opportunity to visit their "Monkey College" and was touched by the abilities of the monkeys and the passion of all the people involved. Please support this wonderful cause.

As my knock off time appraoched, the sky outisde had turned black and chilly and I still had a mountain of paperwork that had to be done before I left. 'Twas nothing to do with my incompetence, instead the laziness of others had thrown the responsibility of over 65 patients into my lap. Now I don't consider myself to vital to the survival of....well anything really, but if I hadn't conquered that mountain then alot of people who ARE vital to the continuing life of patients would have been quite put out.
So as the sky became darker and the laughs of those already finished work for the day became mockingly louder, Spiderman sauntered over and with little more than a wink and an ancouraging thumbs up, he began to give me a hand. And although the work didn't become easier, I now had a smile on my face. Super.
