This is a very SERIOUS help question I need to ask. Do you know anyone who does re-root comminsions on flickr? I would ask my mom but she's always to busy with work and moving in to our new apartment. So please do you know anyone? I would try but I don't even know how to put hair in and I'm scared I might mess something up or choose the wrong...m you know! So do you know ANYONE that does re-root commensions for free? Please help! I don't have any dolls that need re-rooting, but just incase I do need help I already know who to call! Help someone help!!!!

Junkyard beauty in heaps and piles the size of semi truck containers. I looked for color and design. Amazing machinery, parts, welding, patterns, designs, illusions, small hills of junk on junk next to crushed cars stacked on top in six-packs. There were more sections the size of a city block that we didn't have time to explore. A never ending mind bend of imagination.

THE STORY:
A survivor says "One shirt, that's all I'm asking for..."
My country, Philippines, was struck by the world's strongest storm ever recorded on land.
9.5Million people suffered under this massive typhoon that uprooted trees, hurled ships to shore, ruined years of crop growth and livelihood.
In one area alone, more than 10,000 people lost their lives as the roofs were torn from their houses, the land flattened, whole families buried, they had nowhere to run and could only watch as natural disaster slammed into them...
It is the worst we have ever suffered from a typhoon, and after a 7.5 earthquake less than a month ago, it seems we can't take any more!!! We're tired.
Help from Australia, New Zealand, China, Germany, Israel, USA, Indonesia and other wonderful countries have been flooding in, but there are still so many survivors who have not gotten their share of aid: clean food, water, shelter over their heads..
I'm calling out to everyone now, if you want to help, please join the raffle and help the Philippines get back on its feet.
For doing something good, you might take home a new doll, I think it's worth a shot, don't you??? :)

The settlement was founded in the 6th century A.D. by the byzantine emperor Maurice (582-602). The castle walls helped the city to keep away the pirates.
The inhabitants were sailors and merchands and the city kept its economical development for many centuries. In 1147 the Normands tried to capture it without success.
Francs managed to capture it but only for a 10 years period.
In 1259 the Byzantine Emperor Michael Palaiologos liberated Monemvasia and the city had important cultural and economical development until 1460, when the area was captured by the Venetians.
On 23 July 1821, after a long siege turks surrendered the castle of Monemvasia to Alexandros Kantakouzenos.

When the Surma shepherds leave their village, they paint their bodies like for a camouflage;
Like their neighbours, the Surma, living in Omo valley, Ethiopia, paint their bodies; They create a variety of designs on their naked bodies using their fingertips, which helps exposing their dark skins and aims at beautifying themselves and frightenning their opponents; Surma men, generally believed to be expert artists, also paint the girls;
Surma or Suri is a sedentary pastoral tribe living in south west Ethiopia, in Omo Valley on the western bank of the Omo River, in Kibish and Tulgit areas;
Itâs quite common to see men and women carrying Kalashnikovs, which are part of the daily life; Their land has always been a place of traditional rivalries amoung neighbouring tribes such as the Bume (Nyangatom) or the Toposa from Sudan who regularly team up to raid on their cattle; These fights have become quite bloody since automatic firearms have become available during in the Sudanese Civil War;
Only few Surma are familiar with Amharic, Ethiopiaâs official language, and the literacy level is very low; Lip plate and Donga stick fights are the two typical distinctive features of these people, shared with the neighbouring Mursi people;

So, I have been on the hunt for grey leather boots for quite a while. I stumbled across these this morning, and I kinda think I'm in love with them. However, I am having a few issues:
a.) They are Dolce Vita, and I have no experience with that brand. Does anyone know if the quality is good? Anyone know how their shoes tend to run? My calves are a bit thick, and I have a hell of a time finding tall boots that fit - these particular boots don't list a circumference measurement, and I can't find this exact pair on ANY other website. However, the measurements for Dolce Vita's other boots (that I CAN find on other sites) seem like they would work.
b.) Are they worth $178?
Opinions? Thoughts? Links to other fabulous grey boots?
