The Super Pink Moon rises over North Vancouver's tallest building, appropriately named "Observatory". The sun was setting at my back as it cast a golden glow on the buildings in front of me. The purple haze of twilight beginning far in the distance. Looking over Seaspan's Vancouver Shipyards, Lower Lonsdale, Keith-Lynn, Belcarra to this mega moon rising over Golden Ears Provincial Park and snow capped mountain ranges beyond Agassiz and Chilliwack.
A solo urban hike to the top of the Lions Gate Bridge deck. I setup and waited in the wind on the northeast side of the bumpy bridge with my 75-300mm (non-stabilizing) lens fully extended. These high rises are 4.25 km (2.64 miles) away from where I stood... Golden Ears 45 km (28 miles) and the moon 363,594 km (225,926 miles)😉 Captured over the Burrard Inlet in between West Vancouver, North Vancouver and Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada ~ April 7, 2020 💗
"In The Pink"... in very good health and spirits.
Interesting fact: The penthouse of the 29 floor, 30 year old "Observatory" is currently on the market for $5 million dollars. 2321 sqft inside, 1500 sqft outside, 3 level, 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom with amazing views.

Wispy salmon-coloured clouds reflect off the Salish Sea after sundown at the Tsawwassen Spit. Fishing lessons from the best of teachers, preparing your line, casting your line and waiting to dine. Looking south southeast over the invisible 49th parallel (Canada-US Border) and into Washington State. On the left, the tip of Point Roberts. The two humps in the distance are Moran State Park and Turtleback Mountain Reserve, both on Orcas Island which is part of the San Juan Islands. On the right, the long island with two humps is Saturna Island which is part of the Gulf Islands on the Canada side. Captured across the causeway from the BC Ferries Terminal in Tsawwassen, British Columbia, Canada ~ Friday, September 24, 2021

Just exploring my new neighbourhood. There was a nice moonrise over the hills last night, and I happened to be out with my camera.

High and dry on the rocky shore after strong winds and heavy rain hit the south coast of British Columbia. This is the aftermath and a brand new day as a last burst of golden sunlight hits Kits Point. Looking over English Bay to the West End, Second Beach, Stanley Park, Lions Gate Bridge and beyond to clouds mingling at the tops of Crown and Grouse Mountain in the District of North Vancouver. ⛰

Was testing my Samyang 135mm f/2 for a panorama. I'm happy, I had a good time shooting tonight. It was very pretty out there, and a friend came to hang out with me as I was waiting for the city lights to turn on.
I uploaded a 2160p version. Feel free to download it to see more details! Full version is 92 megapixels.

Another beautiful sunset as seen from my gym's rooftop. I feel very lucky to live in such a beautiful city, and I'm going to miss it a lot once I leave.
Spotted on the crosswalk near Second Beach!!! The elusive Stanley Park Sasquatch has been seen eating social butterflies. He’s only grabbing the ones who are gathered in groups at the beach or around the city and dragging them back into the park. I snapped this photo of a Vancouver police officer keeping at least 2 metres away while allowing him to cross the road empty handed. BE ON THE LOOK OUT for a large, muscular, bipedal ape-like creature, roughly 9 feet tall and covered in dark brown hair. Last seen headed towards Lost Lagoon. USE CAUTION if approached!!! With a 12 foot stride, this creature can easily reach speeds of 60+km/hr (compared to the fastest recorded man at 45km/hr) and he's very angry and extremely hungry. Sources say there may be more than one. People are being advised to stay home and avoid any get-togethers with friends or extended family. Captured in Stanley Park, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada ~ April Fools Day, 2020 💀🌲
Killer views from the Vancouver Convention Centre to the North Shore. The Lego-like "Digital Orca" breaches from the concrete beach into yesterday's semi-sunny sky. In the distance, the steeple of the historic red brick Queen Mary Elementary School (built in 1914) can be seen in front of high-rises in Central Lonsdale of North Vancouver. Houses on the foothill of Mt. Fromme (aka Grouse Mountain) and beyond to Mt. Seymour Provincial Park. Captured in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada ~ June 11, 2020 💦
