I'm going through a rough patch at the moment. It's looking like my marriage is coming to an end, and so I'm trying to find some solace and healing in my photography. It's one of the few things bringing me some peace right now.
...they made some funny lenses and The Beatles sang about it for Macro Mondays.
Helios 44-2, 58mm, f/2, M42 screwmount.
My copy was made in Krasnogorsk near Moscow, somewhere between 1959 and 1992.
Can be used on any DSLR or mirrorless with a cheap adapter.
If you add a small extension tube, it is good fun for macro/close-up as well.

Vintage lens: Helios 44-2, with the front lens flipped around (concave to convex). I haven´t done anything in post-processing. Its a jpeg out of cam. But while photographing I have changed the white balance.
