"Have you always been a refugee

Going back to where you came

And even though you are much older now

In your heart you feel the same

Tell me how it used to be

Swimming in the coldest sea

And if you hide your memory

Could you open up your Heart

To a world that tore you apart ?"

For the ones who have been following for a long time, you know how much I like experiencing with blur effect in a natural way, meaning not in photoshop but only by the way I positioned myself. Yesterday I had the chance to photograph this gorgeous Morning Dove at a very close range. It took me at least 45 minutes to get to that range just a bit at a time. She or he was sitting on a log covered by snow and at times, looking for food through the snow. Going through all my images helped me analyzed how I can do it better and found a few things I had not noticed in the past. So in the future, I will position myself that way for a lighter background which gives you the impression of a fog all around the subject. If I had not tried different things, I would have never found this.

Bleu tit in the water....what a lovely sight :-)

Have a Nice Week , my Friends ...

Have a lovely Thursday everyone! Dahlia

taken in St James`s Park London.

I have no idea what they make at this place, but my thought was some up-sized moonshine distillery, or a meth lab. I think this was someplace between Raton and Las Vegas, New Mexico. For sure I-25 and northern New Mexico. I've kept a journal since 2009 with date, odometer, and nearest town. So for a picture like this that was taken in 2012, by the date & time of day it was taken, I can usually figure out roughly where I took the picture.

;)) Have a great Sunday,dear flickr friends!

Have a nice weekend! ^_^

You, Beloved, who are all

the gardens I have ever gazed at,

longing. An open window

in a country house —, and you almost

stepped out, pensive, to meet me.

Streets that I chanced upon,—

you had just walked down them and vanished.

And sometimes, in a shop, the mirrors

were still dizzy with your presence and, startled,

gave back my too-sudden image. Who knows?

perhaps the same bird echoed through both of us

yesterday, separate, in the evening...

~ Rilke

Have you ever felt a part of the photo without being in it? This picture takes me to that quiet evening. After a drizzle, the sun was peeking through the clouds again, the only sound was a soft wind and the tinkling of bells on the cattle further away. I wasn't taking a picture, I felt. I was the picture.

Have a nice week ahead :-)

I have been off flicker since September, needed some break,

Many of you been so nice with you asking me if I was okay and wanting me to comeback,

Never felt better, thank you for caring, it will take some time for me to catch up with my comments, I have been visiting all of you.

Merry Christmas to you!

I have been single for six years in the sense that I live alone at home.

Since breaking up with my ex, the only man I've ever really shared my life with, I've still been dating. I spent nine months with one guy, never living together, a few weeks with another and three more for what were just one night stands.

So I'm still single. And so it is based on real facts that I will tell you, in four parts, this "story of my life".

Have a lovely weekend all my Flickr friends. Wild rose taken last June in Hyde Park London.

Have a great weekend, everyone!

Stay warm :)

Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium holds the world-class mega water tank called Kuroshio Sea. The tank holds a 22.5 m width, a 8.2 m height and a 8.2 m depth, framed by an acrylic glass panel with a 60 cm thickness.

When we encounter larger spices more than our physical size, the impact that creates to us is enormous. It is a sensation! The size of whale shark is more than 12 m in length. The weight is more than 20 metrics tons. Encountering whale sharks in a very close look brings anyone into a dreamy like state. Enjoy watching their slow and elegant move! One source says the Nyenchen Tanglha Mountains range is about 1,000 km (620 mi) in length. Its highest point is 7,090 m (23,260 ft) located 100 km (62 mi) to the northwest of Lhasa. The range is parallel to the Himalayas in the Transhimalayas, and north of the Brahmaputra River. [3] Another source says the Nyenchen Tanglha Mountains extend 460 miles (740 km) from Nyêmo County in the west to Ranwu County (the southwestern part of Baxoi County) in the east.

Its highest peak is Mount Nyenchen Tanglha (Nyainqêntanglha Feng) at 7,162 metres (23,497 ft).[4]

The southern side of the Nyenchen Tanglha Mountains is precipitous, and falls by around 2,000 metres (6,600 ft), while the northern side is fairly level and descends about 1,000 metres (3,300 ft). Most of the mountains are below 6,500 metres (21,300 ft).[5] They contain 7080 glaciers covering an area of 10,700 square kilometres (4,100 sq mi).[4]

The Nyenchen Tanglha Mountains have an average latitude of 30°30'N and a longitude between 90°E and 97°E. Together with the Gangdise Shan located further west, it forms the Transhimalaya [a] which runs parallel to the Himalayas north of the Yarlung Tsangpo River.

The Drukla Chu river rises in the Nyenchen Tanglha Mountains, where it is called the Song Chu river, and joins the Gyamda Chu river. The combined rivers run about 100 kilometres (62 mi) southeast to the Yarlung Tsangpo river.
