My weekend hairstick project. I love the way the beads look against the wood. Pretty!
This pair is HUGE chalk turquoise and smoky quartz and sterling.
This book is handmade and constructed, instead of with blank paper, with twelve vintage airmail envelopes. That might not sound like a lot, but you need to remember you'll be filling it up with stuff. It would be perfect for organizing monthly receipts, ticket stubs, coupons, extra money and basically any other flat objects you might want to file in an attractive manner. The cover is decorated with antique German ledger paper and lined with linen paper. It has a white stitched, black ribbon marker.

I have named this book "Olaf".
This little pendant is 1 1/4 inches tall (3.2 cm), and portrays a multiple choice answer sheet with a pencil. A graduation cap decal reminds the wearer that she will never have to suffer through standardized tests again!

Now, in the online journal making class Carla sews paper pages to the spine of the journal. I tweeked it a little, and instead of pages, I sewed a band/sleeve so that I could slip a legal pad through. This way when the legal pad is full, I just reuse the journal over and over again.
This are the quilted postcards I've already received from my postcard swap group. All of them really pretty and professional. I'm still scared about what MY postcards will look like...
