there is some of my sister's potpourri encased behind the lace,the velvet is something I found in her stuff after she died, I think she might have been planning a crazy quilt. Everything is attached to a scrap of Aida cloth.

SOLD-thank you! Needle-felted Corriedale and Merino wool bear, jointed arms and legs, wool party hat, cotton fabric pincushion with wool beaded "frosting" plopped into an antique jello mold.
I made this last night and it was quite fiddly working with linen fabric. I am quite happy with the result.
Done...with time to spare! It's going to be hard sending this one off. It's one of my favourite things I've ever made. But I know it will be going to someone who will appreciate this sampling of fussy cuts, paper piecing, wonky stars, and HSTs...and I bet she'll recognize most of the prints I chose.
Beautiful greenish-blue glass and warm brown copper make me think of a gorgeous stream that I like to wade in.
The mineral dress for Blythe. This was my favorite of this batch, made with super delicate gauze and hand dyed cotton and French lace. I only have 1 left of this dress.

inspired by a wall shown on project runway - I thought this would be a great use for my fabric scraps. I sewed the strips into blocks and then cut out triangles and bordered that with solid white. this is the layout i like the best... now to decide on the size! blogged here.

Mashka have an incredible range of beautiful handmade Jewellery, Located @ 1400 Grant Avenue on Telegraph Hill, San Francisco. mashka.com . This decor in the window display caught my attention whilst walking by one morning and I just had to get a photo of this awesome decor, and this decor ONLY.
