last night in the basement - HCT & HTT!
last week I took the shot below specifically for CT theme of Go Together and then forgot to post it to the group, so here it is :}
Bunch of allen keys kept on a handy key ring which I found yesterday by accident when looking for a different tool. Can never find them when I need them! HMM!
I was having smashing good time with this week's theme!
I found this little old hammer and put it to use!

I love sauteed mushrooms, they are a fave!
This set of screwdrivers were a novelty in a Christmas Cracker. But believe it or not I have used them.
For Macro Monday - Edge. The edge of an oak board being peeled away by the sharp edge of a No. 7 Record hand plane, part of my collection of hand tools.
With his leggy body and rugged, good looks, Slippy Channelock was quite popular with the local wrenches...
The business end of a revolving punch, a hand tool for punching 5/64 - 3/16" (2.0 - 4.5mm) round holes in leather, plastic, rubber, canvas, or cardboard.
The height of the assembly is just under three inches (76.2mm).
One and half inch screw driver for mending glasses. A very useful tool (plus spare screws) that came in a Christmas cracker. For Macro Monday theme Hand Tool.
My attempt at the "Crazy Tuesday" theme "Hand tools".
The manufacturer of this specific tool (Wera) was not responsible for the invention of the principle behind it (I think it might have been patented first by Megapro?) but this screw driver is probably my favorite and most used hand tool! It doesn’t use it’s own specific bits but standard interchangeable bits (used on drills etc.), has an extendable front part and a compartment inside the handle, that clicks open and features space for different bits. It really is an incredibly well thought out flexible system and feels like a pretty high quality tool at the same time!
Shot with a Rodenstock "Apo Sironar digital 45 mm F 4.5" (large format) lens on a Canon EOS R5.
a hand tool possibility for MM for 11/13
The hole punches are from my teaching days, so they’re venerable and sturdy and made a lot of holes and “confetti”. There are three punches that I still have - a heart, this snowflake, and a star. The punch part is made of metal and would last another 20 years, I’m sure!!

Whats crazy about two sets of hand tools?
Well the crazy bit is because I only wanted one Star Driver to open up one of my cameras to clean the sensor.
I ended up buying two sets just to get one to fit. I have used these tools perhaps twice now.

-This Aluminum Egg Wedger is perfect for creating tasty creations.
It has three stainless steel wires that cut the hard boiled egg in six, equal wedges. It ensures that the egg white and yolk stay together when cut.
Made from polished, die cast aluminum with a heavy-duty spring.
7DOS old Macro Monday, This is the classic monkey wrench, the fore runner for the crescent wrench and also a spin off for the pipe wrench when they added teeth it became the pipe wrench. The monkey wrench was an adjustable wrench shaped like the pipe wrench but no teeth so only used on nuts, bolts and unions. Small wrench this is 1-1/2 inch square frame.
