This is my contribution to this weeks Macro Monday theme of "Hand Tools". A garlic press with a clove. HMM
Das uralte Kopierrädchen meiner Mutter funktioniert immer noch. Es dient zum Übertragen von Musterlinien auf Papier oder Stoff.

The vast majority of images I do these days are macros, so just taking this photo felt strange in itself. For me, these tweezers are invaluable when I'm picking up and arranging tiny objects like the stiletto shoes in this image. The shoes are as light as a feather and only ½" long. I frequently knock them over! I find these cheap plastic tweezers are much easier to use, and far more accurate, than metal ones and I wouldn't be without them now. The background is a modern dolls house carpet.
For this week's Crazy Tuesday group theme, Hand tools.
The pointy bit of a Bit & Brace hand drill.
This image was captured for the Macro Mondays theme: hand tool.
Width: 5 cm / 1,9 inches
Another theme with way too many possibilities. A quick snap I took today, after, rather unsuccessfully, plundering the tool box and kitchen drawer all day yesterday. The German sub-category for "Hand Tools" is listing brushes as such, so I figure a lenspen is OK for today. Also the lens itself is all manual; it's a souvenir I brought along from a visit to Hamburg last year, a cheap vintage Zuiko tele zoom lens originally designed for the Olympus OM-System.
A Happy Macro Monday, Everyone!
Came across this robot at a car show, made from all kinds of hand tools! This creative man had all kind of big and small unique robots!
Those are the cogwheel teeth of an old "Egg beater drill", so called because it reminds of the kitchen ustensile for beating eggs.
This model is of the French "Peugeot Frères" brand of tools, existing since 1810 and still active.
By mounting the crank on the one or the other position, you could engage either the inner or the outer flat cogwheel, and hence chose higher or lower speed.
Hand Tool is the theme for Macro Monday. This multi-purpose tool resting on my bike handle bar. I go nowwhere without. Numerous size wrench's 2 screw driver bits and 4 allan keys which is all I need to repair bike when need be. Happy Macro Monday all. (;-D

eine Art Lochzange oder zum Nieten... keine Ahnung. Ich denke mal sie kommt aus dem Juweliergeschäft meines Onkels
das kleinste Loch ist vielleicht 1mm im Durchmesser
Thanks for all your views, *** and (critical) kind review :))

Macro Monday theme: Hand tool
Thanks for taking time to fave, comment and look at my work. I really appreciate.
My entry for this week's Macro Mondays theme, Hand Tool.
I had a chrome vanadium 22mm ratchet spanner, but I borrowed this from work because the ratchet mechanism in this is open and visible. I thought it might add to the character of it a bit more.
Also, this one has been used far more than my own!
I did discover as to how hard it is to photograph anything in gloss chrome finish, as the lighting technique is totally different to what one might think. As chrome surfaces reflect almost all the light, it is counter intuitive to pummel it with a speedlight directly. So, I had to use a reflector to get the surface of the spanner lit.
I was happy with the result in the end, especially the sunstar on the right hand side, which I noticed only in post processing!

Side to side (l to r) of these carbon bristles measures 1.5" in length. A wide angle shot of the brush is seen in the comment area below. I have no idea why I own this tool...I probably thought I would use it for scratching surfaces to make textures for my relief prints.
Action part of an old ten inch hand brace (as in Brace and Bit) for the Macro Mondays group, topic: Hand Tool. Happy Macro Monday!
One of my favourite small clamps because of the nice turning head. Only while editing did I notice the 'Bat symbol'. I originally though to process to B&W but the rust colour adds to its character. Maximum width is 2 1/4 inches.

Wonderful theme this week because I love tools.
I made two series of pictures, which is not very smart because now I have to make a choice, which one to upload; the foldable scissors or the vernier caliper?
I think the scissors are funny, the vernier caliper looks more professional.
