The Crazy Tuesday theme.

These are just a few of my old BT tools, in the front compartment of a converted aluminium camera carrying case. We were all issued with a case on the Payphone Group, very handy when working on public payphones when you couldn't park the van near the kiosk.

Very appropiate using them for this shot, tomorrow, 29th Sept. I retired from BT. 21 years ago after 37 years service.

Crazy Tuesday - Hand tool

A pincet is a hand tool I use sometimes to let springtails walk on (when they will walk on the right spot :-)) it gives a nice reflection.

Macro Mondays - Hand Tool

I call this hand tool a pincher grabber, but am not sure what its technical name is. This tool is over two feet long with a flexible metal shaft. The end shown has a pincher claw for grabbing items like screws that have been dropped where they cannot easily be reached. The other end of the tool has a button for opening and closing the pincher. HMM

These useful handtools, which I use for

cut onions to prepare dinners. HMM

This is the depth afjustment screw on a jack plane, for Macro Mondays theme “Hand Tool”. A jack plane is a general purpose plane used to size and/or shape a piece of wood before using a longer plane to to final smoothing. A jack plane is 12 to 18 inches long.
