These are the size of large goose eggs & are paper mache, ... I have more & better pics but can't find them in this messy studio ... So off to work I go to get this " I must be out of my mind" project started ... Be back as soon as I can ... I'll still ck. posts & comment untill I get to the point where my computer is unplugged! ... Hopefully I can get hubby to get it all up & running again as fast as possible! :)

Notes: Benjamin F. Reimer; daguerreian and photographer, Philadelphia, Pa., 1849-1860. In 1849 he was listed at 48 South Fourth Street. In 1850 he was not listed. From 1851 to 1857 he was listed at 397 North Second Street. He was not listed in 1858, 1859. In 1860 he was listed at 615 and 617 North Second Street, and lived at 704 Marshall Street. Another source has identified him with the anti-slavery movement.

Made it a long time ago for Bill, but recently looked at it again and added lots of color, the first version was kind of blah, plus I painted the wooden frame ultra blue and brushed on some gold, which does not show in this photo, bummer.

My first handpainted roving. This is the "Bargain Blend" from Paradise Fibers and I used Easter egg dye that I bought on sale awhile back. Grace says she found Easter egg dye kits today at the Star Market near MIT for 25 cents, so kits are still out there! blogged
I used the same method that I used to dye my yarn in our dyeing tutorial.

Handpainted, had sewn. Cape is made from handmade and dyed wool felt. Her apron is fine Irish linen and hand embroidered.
In her basket is a jar of jam and a loaf of bread I crafted from polymer clay and powdered pastels.

out in the middle of nowhere and came across the handpainted garlic sign. organic, no less. i live for this kinda sh*t.
This cute Ladybug Wine Glass has ladybugs crawling all over it. It was painted using glass enamel paints, baked and the seal. This is dishwasher safe and tested (using non-abrasive and no bleach dish liquid)
