Every year my village has a large art exhibition during Easter. These lovely cloggs were on show there.
Trying to practice some handpainting. It took me forever to do this 4", I cant imagine painting a 4 tier cake ! x
Really pleased with this cake it was just how I saw it in my head (that doesn't happen very often!) www.auroracakes.com
One of my stranger requests, this cake was the centrepiece for a wake....
A dear friend lost her mum to cancer days before Christmas and asked me to make a cake in the shape of her mums favourite cat, a ginger tom. I didn't have time to attempt a 3d cat, so I came up with this instead.
As it turned out, the painting felt like a much more personal thing to do for her, and was loved by all who saw it.
Some of the works in progress you can see in my studio this week-end.

My collection of handpainted Easter Eggs bought at an Easter Egg market in Michelstadt, Germany. These are real egg shells. I've managed to transport the eggs from Germany to the U.S. to Tokyo and now to England.
After trying my hand a painting on a cake with the leopard print last week, decided to have a go at handpainting roses!
I handpainted this tea kettle using a Dianna Marcum design. It features gingerbread cookies and baking items. The background is barn red and will go with most kitchen decor. The kettle can also be used as a unique candle holder.
Another beautiful hand painted thrift store find. No information available other than the stamp on back which only says, "hand painted Italy".
These are my own TOMS that I handpainted myself over my Christmas break. I had NO clue what they would turn out as, but I am incredibly pleased with these!!
