This is Suchin, one of a two-doll set from Helen Kish. She is hand-painted by Helen and is wearing her original outfit.
I had a bride come and ask for a copy of one of my earlier designs but silver instead of the red. It was good to know that I could replecate the painted design.
I painted this for my grandson, Nolan... he LOVES superheroes :)

{recycling process}
Unwanted glass beads were upcycled into cute rings using old nail polish to hand paint on zebra designs. Making each one of a kind! New adjustable antique bronze ring was added to complete the jewelry.

This is my first ever handpainted origami paper! :) I used acrylic paints on some grey elephant hide, it works so well that you don't even get paint on your fingers whilst folding!
I will definitely make more use of these paints, I have this blue and also gold, silver and bronze.
Soon to be folded into a rhombus tessellation :)
The lost art of hand-painting signs...possibly should have remained lost in this particular instance.

These are the size of large goose eggs & are paper mache, ... I have more & better pics but can't find them in this messy studio ... So off to work I go to get this " I must be out of my mind" project started ... Be back as soon as I can ... I'll still ck. posts & comment untill I get to the point where my computer is unplugged! ... Hopefully I can get hubby to get it all up & running again as fast as possible! :)
