This is a mixer I made for a model building class. Constructed with foam, bondo, paint, clear coat, clear non-slip spray and vinyl lettering.
My first carved alphabet stamps. I'm filling in the lost stamps from the collection Rice gave me. It is very relaxing and a lot of fun.

More striped stockings. This hand spun yarn is made from commercial roving. The lighter color is 'marled'--meaning two different colors spun together.

this was a happy accident. i was thinking of a photo for the 'hands challenge' for shutter sisters and as the timer was beeping river came up and put his hand on my palm.
we've got the same freckles on our hands.
Part of my first batch of hand-dyed yarn, the result of a class I took back in October. The inspriration for the colorway comes from some stained glass fragments at the Cloisters, such as this one.
