Just to be clear, my hand isn't the only thing that's black! There's the rest of my ensemble... and the rest of... well, Me! [giggle!]
I've had this hot little custom made wet look shirred lycra spandex minidress for a while, just waiting for the right time to build an ensemble around it! I haven't done a set of pix with any of my thigh boots in a while so I thought that this combination was finally due for its time in the lights! I hope you like it!
My ensemble is centered on this wonderfully shiny & tight black mystique wet look lycra spandex tube style shirred minidress that was custom made for me by the fantastic Ellie at coquetryclothing.com! I've matched it up with Leg Avenue black fishnet hose worn over shiny black Platino Cleancut pantyhose from shapings.com and Hanes Alive Barely There support hose from onehanesplace.com, my black lurex opera gloves, and my fantastic black patent thigh high stiletto platform boots from electriqueboutique.com

I forgot about this photo! I took this when visiting Merrik for the first time! and that is his Momma's hand holding his! :) i thought i would share it!
This woman faithfully writes letters to those she loves, despite the crippling arthritis in her hands. These hand shots were part of a slide show on the "hands of heaven on earth".
one day he decided he was more dependent on the kindness of women than he liked so he went off to hunt wild beasts with his bare hands. but all he found was a stray dog & a couple of old pigeons & it was cold & he missed the sound of soft voices, so finally he came back & never worried about it again.
I decided to try paper piecing so this was the end result. This was 100% hand pieced white squares included... I made 3 pillows to match. Almost done with those too.
Made with tons of scraps, mainly free spirit fabric.
Today my relatives from Ottawa came to visit. I always love spending time with them - they're very very smart, creative, sophisticated, interesting, witty, etc. - just my kind of people. They gave me this topaz ring & a matching pair of earrings. Someone knows my taste in jewelry!!
Speaking of jewelry, yesterday I ordered this ring from Etsy. I'm so excited for it to arrive! It will go with so many of my clothes!
Quilt top made by my mom for my wedding. It is hand quilted. Each fabric is different but green in color since that is my favorite.
