Taken in the early hours after the February snow stopped falling. The different colours are caused by the mixture of tungsten and halogen lighting.

I have a pair of 3,200 degree halogen lights that were designed for video, but, I use them for still photography. I've never been able to figure out how I should attach the lights to the lightstand and umbrella, but, I think I have the best arrangement here.

Not completely sure of depth, but the bottom of the lake at some 18 metres of depth, before searching for the stone bridge. The bridge is at 25 metres and the lake itself goes to about 30 metres in depth.
This silt covers the whole lake and the bridge, that's submerged in the lake.
Left is flash from an Ikelite DS-51 and right is the halogen bulb of my Hartenberger divelamp. Lately I've been taking a liking into the more colder and bluer LED lights. It's possible to buy a seperate LED head for the Hartenberger Maxi compact. LED light is more suited for coldwater diving and halogen is nicer for the tropics (bringing out more reds). LED has the added advantage of lasting longer, because if the lights go out here, you will need to end your dive. At this depth and lake the dark cold water can be quite challenging. You need a light here!
The original halogen MR16s were 50 Watt, 36 degree beam angle. We replaced them with Philips 10W LEDs that had a tighter, 15 degree beam angle. We used the lamps to only light what was important, which was the table tops, the art work and the flower arrangements. Using a proprietary technology developed by Smart Lighting we were able to produce custom lighting color even warmer than 2700k.
i'm fascinated by the choice of councils to place completely contrasting light sources next to each other. it's great for the photos, but a headache for anyone else....
