Oh My Goodness! I want ALL of these gorgeous pieces of jewelry for my very own!
Check out this amazing antique print of 35 premier examples of European master-craftsman made wearable art objects for the Victorian woman of fashion! It's is one of the most beautifully detailed engravings I've ever seen!
You'll moan with delight when you see this gorgeous antique illustration from Germany in person!
The beautiful details in this gorgeous, sharp as a tack artisan-crafted study of Victorian Jewelry from before the turn of the 20th century in this fine illustration are simply amazing.
They don't make things like this anymore. Printing of this quality and detail is a long lost art-form too I'm afraid.
"1887 Artisan Crafted Decorative Jewelry" is in glorious condition captured in classic basic black (of course.)
This Fabulous German illustration is Perfect.
Smooth and flat with crisp edges and corners and almost no tanning at all... remarkable condition for 122 year old paper!
Your 1887 antique illustration measures a big 12" x 9 1/2" with a clean center fold as issued, blank on the reverse.
IVORY CREAM WHITE ROSE BLOSSOM WEDDING FLOWER COMB
I get inspiration from natural beauty of romantic roses. Big and small flowers are made with ivory cream white silk satin fabric. In the center of the flowers there are white pearls. The comb is sewn by hand.
This is a very romantic hair comb for brides, bridemaids, stylish feminine women and young girls. You will look fascinating and attractive with this romantic hair comb.
It is special and hand made.
All of my pieces are handmade with love♥ and great care
Lovely celluloid with rhinestones and
gilt, hair comb. To be accurate, this
was a hair pin, as indicated by the
two prongs. The split in the prongs
dates this into the 1920s.
"You just can't ignore it!" - oh dear, it looks as if someone got too close to the nuclear fallout and I doubt even Silvikrin could help! This was a famous brand of shampoo - and, of course, the name was nicked by Private Eye magazine as 'nom de plume'!
Only very special pieces get my "rockstar" designation. These are items that I imagine would be worn by the lavish hedonistic rockstars of the romantic steam powered era, if there had ever been such a thing. So, if you've packed your steam-powered guitar and are heading out on a time-traveling trip in either direction, this is the hair piece to pack!
This hair clip is made from a sunset tone rose, slightly smaller than a full bloom rose, which I adorned with crystal jewels. The rose leaves also have little green jewels attached, which layer on top of deep green and copper feathers and a richly embroidered peacock feather.
All of this is sturdily mounted on a full sized hair comb, and designed to secure comfortably to your hairdo without falling out or shifting around, without any additional clips or pins.
This hair piece is ready made and just waiting to be shipped to you! This piece was designed to be sturdy enough for use as a belly dancer's accessory, but would also make a stunning addition to your formal event outfit, a steampunk or roaring 20's costume or for wearing around town to create a traffic-stopping jaw-dropping trail of captivated people in your wake.
