This has a very unique look to it. I like the triangle shape with the design in the center. This one is a mix of bronze, copper, and nickel silver. Nickel silver is a stiff metal alloy of copper, nickel, and zinc so it is quite sturdy. This comb has 6 tines. The ends of each tine have a weld of nickel to create smooth tips so you won't scratch your scalp. The comb has a gentle curve to it so it will fit snug against your head.
*Operation*
These work at holding hair very well like the hair barrettes we make but do it in a different way. This comb will securely hold hair in a French twist, bun, or French roll.
*measurements*
Comb measures 5.6 inches (14.2 cm) long and about 2.25 inches (5.7 cm) wide.
*Care*
We do not coat our jewelry with any lacquer or other chemicals so the metals on this comb will tend to tarnish over time but can be polished up with any silver, brass, or copper cleaner. Also an old tooth brush and some toothpaste can do just as well. You can also just leave the piece alone and let the metals fade to softer tones.
Two of my beaded plumeria flowers handmade using hundreds of tiny
pearly ivory glass beads; strung and stitched one bead at a time.
Small matching pearls rest in the center of the flowers.
The "Classic Ivory" has a warmer, slightly more "pink" tone
than the "Pale Ivory" flower, as well as being a shade darker.
Securely attached to a new gold plated hair comb.
The flowers measure 2 inches each. (5 cm)
The entire length of both flowers on the comb is
3.75 inches, or 9.5 cm.

IVORY WHITE BIG ROSE BLOSSOM WEDDING FLOWER HAIR COMB
I get inspiration from natural beauty of romantic roses. Big flower is made with ice white satin fabric. In the center of the flower there are tiny white and silver colour beads. The hair comb is sewn by hand.
This is a very romantic hair comb for brides, bridemaids, stylish feminine women and young girls. You will look fascinating and attractive with this romantic hair comb.

Gion Corner was established at Yasaka Kaikan Hall in 1962. Its one-hour show is popular with international tourists for its quick introduction to seven different traditional art forms: chadō (the Japanese tea ceremony), kado (flower arrangement), koto (Japanese Harp) music, gagaku (ancient court music), kyogen (traditionally comic drama), kyomai (Kyoto style geisha/maiko dance) geisha-style women dances, and bunraku puppet drama. On the first floor, there is a Maiko Gallery exhibiting interesting items associated with maiko.
