We walked up, saw the string of SUVs and then I saw the red one and was like, WAIT. JIMMY'S HERE! And yup, he was haha. The secret service guy teased us saying that he recognized us from the build. I was like, did you also do a background check on all of us, too? :P — at Bass Pro Shops at the Pyramid.

This is the sustainable design house. The side with all the windows faces south, and inside a brick wall runs through the house. We stained the concrete floors rather than covering with laminate. The idea is that the sun will heat up the brick wall and the floor during the winter and help heat the home. In the summer, the soffit should block the hottest sun and the brick wall will help to keep the home cool.

There are a total of 16 windows in the one story house!

St Marys Catholic Church across the street from the hotel.

This was seen on my adventure from the hotel in search of food. I exited on the wrong side and found myself in between churches, bail bondsmen, a jail and deserted parking lots. After trying to make my way to a Starbucks that no longer existed (after trying to go to a wing place that was closed), I found a Subway Sandwich shop in a dingy gas station, quickly bought a sandwich and water and made my way back to the hotel. Clearly the wrong side of Memphis haha...
