Ο Θεός λέει:« ...Όταν ο Δημιουργός ασκεί την εξουσία Του, κανένα από τα λόγια Του δεν είναι μάταιο κι έτσι την έκτη ημέρα, το κάθε έμψυχο ζώο που Εκείνος είχε σκοπό να δημιουργήσει εμφανίστηκε την προκαθορισμένη στιγμή. Καθώς ο Δημιουργός είπε «Ας γεννήση η γη ζώα έμψυχα κατά το είδος αυτών», η γη αμέσως γέμισε ζωή και πάνω στην ξηρά ξαφνικά εμφανίσθηκαν οι ανάσες από διάφορα είδη εμψύχων ζώων… Στους πράσινους χλοερούς αγριότοπους εμφανίστηκαν η μία μετά την άλλη, παχιές αγελάδες που κουνούσαν την ουρά τους εδώ και κει, πρόβατα που βελάζανε συγκεντρώθηκαν σε κοπάδια κι άλογα που χλιμίντριζαν άρχισαν να καλπάζουν… Μέσα σε μια στιγμή, οι απέραντες εκτάσεις έρημων λιβαδιών έσκασαν από ζωή… Η εμφάνιση αυτών των διαφόρων ζώων ήταν ένα υπέροχο θέαμα πάνω στα ήρεμα λιβάδια και τους έδωσε μεγάλη ζωντάνια… Αυτά θα ήταν οι σύντροφοι των λιβαδιών και οι άρχοντες των λιβαδιών, το ένα αμοιβαία εξαρτώμενο από το άλλο. Και θα γίνονταν αυτά οι φύλακες και οι άρχοντες αυτών των χωραφιών, που θα ήταν η μόνιμη κατοικία τους και που θα τους παρείχε ό,τι χρειάζονταν, μια πηγή αιώνιας τροφής που χρειάζονται για την ύπαρξή τους…

Κανείς στον θρησκευτικό κόσμο δεν μπορεί να κατανοήσει βαθιά τι είναι η αληθινή πίστη στον Θεό. Ο Παντοδύναμος Θεός λέει, «“Πίστη στον Θεό” σημαίνει να πιστεύεις ότι υπάρχει Θεός. Αυτή είναι η πιο απλή έννοια της πίστης στον Θεό. Ωστόσο, το να πιστεύεις ότι υπάρχει Θεός δεν είναι το ίδιο με το να πιστεύεις πραγματικά στον Θεό. Είναι περισσότερο κάποιο είδος απλής πίστης με ισχυρές θρησκευτικές αποχρώσεις. Πραγματική πίστη στον Θεό σημαίνει να βιώνεις τα λόγια και τα έργα του Θεού, με βάση την πεποίθηση ότι ο Θεός είναι ο κυρίαρχος των πάντων. Έτσι θα αποδεσμευτείς από τη διεφθαρμένη διάθεσή σου, θα εκπληρώσεις τις βουλές του Θεού και θα μπορέσεις να γνωρίσεις τον Θεό. Martin Mere Wetland Centre is home to over 100 species of rare and endangered ducks, geese, swans, flamingos and beavers. Follow WWTmartinmere updates on Twitter
Inquisitive Hawaiian Geese will nibble grain from the hand whilst you tour the world's wetlands through the
carefully planned pathways.
In contrast, watch, from the comfort and choice of ten lookout hides, internationally important numbers of ducks, geese and swans gathering in winter to form spectacular feeding flocks on seasonally flooded wetlands which enjoy SSSI (Site of Scientific Interest)/SPA (Special Protection Area) and Ramsar status.
With a diversity of waterfowl exhibits and an adventure playground for children to enjoy, Martin Mere is a first class, year-round, wetland wildlife attraction for families, couples, teenagers and the retired.

The Pinkfoot Pantry offers a delicious selection of hot and cold food, a variety of coffees and chilled drinks, and tempting home-made cakes. From healthy vegetarian salads to hearty meat dishes, all can be enjoyed overlooking the beautiful wetlands.
Fully licensed to serve alcohol. Hot food served between 11.45am and 2.30pm.

Shopping
The gift shop stocks a wide range of wildlife books, outdoor clothing, bird feeders/boxes, postcards and stationary, children’s gifts and souvenirs of your visit to the centre, including a unique range of products featuring the artwork of WWT founder Sir Peter Scott.
There is also an in focus optics shop at the centre selling everything you will ever need to watch wildlife – from budget binoculars starting at around £15 to deluxe telescopes at over £1000. in focus is the ideal place to get honest, friendly advice about buying your first pair of binoculars.
Visitors are asked to respect the habitats and wildlife of Martin Mere Wetland Centre by keeping to the paths at all times and not causing undue noise. It is especially important to remain quiet in the bird viewing hides.
Photography is permitted on site providing it is for personal use only. All commercial/stock library photography must be agreed in advance with the centre and a photography permission form must be completed prior to the visit. Email: info.martinmere@wwt.org.uk to request the form.
No dogs are permitted on site, other than trained assistance dogs (i.e. Guide Dogs
•The centre has level access and hard-surfaced paths with tarmac on main routes (and compacted gravel on minor paths)
•All hides are accessible to wheelchairs

The Common Cuckoo (Cuculus canorus) (formerly European cuckoo) is a member of the cuckoo order of birds, Cuculiformes, which includes the roadrunners, the anis and the coucals.
This species is a widespread summer migrant to Europe and Asia, and winters in Africa. It is a brood parasite, which means it lays eggs in the nests of other bird species, particularly of dunnocks, meadow pipits, and reed warblers. Although its eggs are larger than those of its hosts, the eggs in each type of host nest resemble the host's eggs. The adult too is a mimic, in its case of the sparrowhawk; since that species is a predator, the mimicry gives the female time to lay her eggs without being seen to do so.
Although the common cuckoo's global population appears to be declining, it is classified of being of Least Concern by the International Union for Conservation of Nature. It is estimated that the species numbers between 25 million and 100 million individuals worldwide, with around 12.6 million to 25.8 million of those birds breeding in Europe. The maximum recorded lifespan of a common cuckoo in the United Kingdom is 6 years, 11 months and 2 days.
Essentially a bird of open land, the common cuckoo is a widespread summer migrant to Europe and Asia, and winters in Africa. Birds arrive in Europe in April and leave in September. This is one of two juvenile Cuckoos that were entertaining locals and birdwatchers alike at the old train station near Newcastle, Co. Wicklow this autumn. Such a pleasure to have been able to spend a few hours with this individual.

Agathis ovata, ou kaori de montagne, est une espèce de conifère de la famille des Araucariaceae. Il se rencontre uniquement en Nouvelle-Calédonie, où il est la seule des espèces du genre Agathis représentées dans cet archipel à ne pas pousser en milieu forestier dense mais sur le maquis minier entre 100 et 800 m dans le sud de la Grande Terre. On ne trouve aujourd'hui que de petites populations d'individus isolés sur les flancs et sommets de montagnes (dans les zones de Dumbéa, Prony, Yaté...).

The cuisine in Cuba is, well, pretty mediocre. Actually, that's being kind.
However, there are a few really excellent restaurants in Havana if you want to hunt them down. Probably my favourite was La Guarida as much for the location as the cuisine itself.
We weren't sure how easy it would be to reserve a table so we walked down to the building at midday to try to book. At first, it was not clear where this restaurant was, but we finally found it in a non-descript building in a shoddy street in Havana (much of Havana looks and feels shoddy but don't let that put you off!).
On the ground floor was the entrance to a seemingly derelict building - but much of Havana is like that. Walk past the mural of Fidel Castro on the ground floor and head on up the stairs to the first floor. There is little indication that another level up is a fantastic restaurant - apart from the tell-tale signs of linen tablecloths being hung out to dry in the tropical midday heat.
The paint was peeling off the walls on the first floor (there is no paint on the ground floor apart from Fidel's mural) but the immediate impression - with the tropical sunlight streaming in through the window openings - is one of beautiful decaying elegance.
One floor above is the actual restaurant itself but I was captivated by this first floor scene which seemed to sum up Cuba in a single photograph.

Ας θυμηθούμε πώς ήταν η ανθρωπότητα την εποχή του Νώε. Οι άνθρωποι έκαναν κάθε λογής κακία, χωρίς να τους περνάει καν από το μυαλό η μετάνοια. Κανένας τους δεν άκουγε τον λόγο του Θεού. Η αδιαλλαξία και η κακία τους προκάλεσαν την οργή του Θεού, και στο τέλος όλοι αφανίστηκαν από την καταστροφή του μεγάλου κατακλυσμού. Μόνο ο Νώε και η οκταμελής οικογένειά του άκουσαν τον λόγο του Θεού και μπόρεσαν να επιβιώσουν. Τώρα, οι έσχατες ημέρες είναι ήδη εδώ. Η διαφθορά της ανθρωπότητας όλο και βαθαίνει. Οι πάντες λατρεύουν το κακό. Ολόκληρος ο θρησκευτικός κόσμος ακολουθεί το ρεύμα του κόσμου. Δεν αγαπούν ούτε στο ελάχιστο την αλήθεια. Οι ημέρες του Νώε είναι ήδη εδώ! Αυτή είναι η τελευταία φορά που ο Θεός σώζει τον άνθρωπο! Τι θα πρέπει να επιλέξει η ανθρωπότητα; Η ιστορία αυτή είναι αληθινή. Από τότε που οι κάτοικοι του Κινγκπίνγκ στην επαρχία Σετσουάν επανειλημμένα αρνήθηκαν να δεχτούν το Ευαγγέλιο της βασιλείας του Παντοδύναμου Θεού, έχουν υποστεί δύο καταστροφές. Στον Μεγάλο Σεισμό του Σετσουάν, πολλοί αδελφοί και αδελφές που πίστευαν στον Παντοδύναμο Θεό προστατεύτηκαν θαυματουργικά από τον Θεό και επέζησαν. Honfleur is a commune in the Calvados department in Normandy en.normandie-tourisme.fr/normandy-tourism-109-2.html in northwestern France. It is located on the southern bank of the estuary of the Seine across from le Havre and very close to the exit of the Pont de Normandie. Its inhabitants are called Honfleurais. It is especially known for its old, beautiful picturesque port, characterized by its houses with slate-covered frontages, painted many times by artists, including in particular Gustave Courbet, Eugène Boudin, Claude Monet and Johan Jongkind, forming the école de Honfleur (Honfleur school) which contributed to the appearance of the Impressionist movement. The Sainte-Catherine church, which has a bell tower separate from the principal building, is the largest church made out of wood in France. The first written record of Honfleur is a reference by Richard III, Duke of Normandy, in 1027. By the middle of the 12th century, the city represented a significant transit point for goods from Rouen to England. Located on the estuary of one of the principal rivers of France with a safe harbour and relatively rich hinterland, Honfleur profited from its strategic position from the start of the Hundred Years' War. The town's defences were strengthened by Charles V in order to protect the estuary of the Seine from attacks from the English. This was supported by the nearby port of Harfleur. However, Honfleur was taken and occupied by the English in 1357 and from 1419 to 1450. When under French control, raiding parties often set out from the port to ransack the English coasts, including partially destroying the town of Sandwich, in Kent, England, in the 1450s. At the end of the Hundred Years' War, Honfleur benefited from the boom in maritime trade until the end of the 18th century. Trade was disturbed during the wars of religion in the 16th century. The port saw the departure of a number of explorers, in particular in 1503 of Binot Paulmierde Gonneville to the coasts of Brazil. In 1506, local man Jean Denis departed for Newfoundland island and the mouth of the Saint Lawrence. An expedition in 1608, organised by Samuel de Champlain, founded the city of Quebec in modern day Canada. After 1608, Honfleur thrived on trade with Canada, the West Indies, the African coasts and the Azores. As a result, the town became one of the five principal ports for the slave trade in France. During this time the rapid growth of the town saw the demolition of its fortifications on the orders of Colbert. The wars of the French revolution and the First Empire, and in particular the continental blockade, caused the ruin of Honfleur. It only partially recovered during the 19th century with the trading of wood from northern Europe. Trade was however limited by the silting up of the entrance to the port and development of the modern port at Le Havre. The port however still functions today. There are two reasons why a person faces the sea.
One, to enjoy a slice of shine in the sea like children bubbling over in the beach.
The other, to brush the dust of memory like an old man who misses old days, staring at the shine
quietly.
Those lead to only one meaning though they do not seem to overlap. It’s a rebirth.
I face myself to change tomorrow, a vague day into something certain.
That is the meaning of a rebirth.
I had a very sweet girlfriend when I was 18.
After she left, I knew the meaning of gentleness for the first time and also a true pain of loss. After
she left, how many times did I depend too much on her, doubt her, envy her and keep on telling lies
until I realized it is love?
I wonder whether a nobody like me could have given something to her who was struggling in the
daily life in those days. Giving something is arrogant conceit. It is nothing but self-satisfaction.
I had been thinking about such a thing.
However, I guess what she saw in me was because I had nothing. That‘s why she tried to see
something in me. Perhaps she found a slight possibility in me, a guy filled with ambiguous, unstable
tomorrow. But I wasted days depending too much on her gentleness.
Now I finally can convey how I felt in those days when we met.

人が海へ向かう理由には、二つある。
ひとつは、波打ち際ではしゃぐ子供のように、今の瞬間の海の輝きを楽しむこと。
もうひとつは、その輝きを静かに見据えて、過ぎ去った日々を懐かしむ老人のように記憶の埃を払うこと。
二つは重なり合わないようではあるけれども、たったひとつの意味しか生まない。
再生だ。
明日っていう、曖昧な日を確実なものへと変えてゆくために、自分の存在に向き合う。
それが再生の意味だ。

バブル崩壊後、バブル前までのことなどをひっくるめて、以下に書かれていることはまったく正しい。
どうしてスティーブ・ジョブズのような人が出てこなかったのか。残念でなりません。

デービッド・アトキンソン氏曰く、「日本の経営者は奇跡的無能」とのこと（近著）。
子供の時から暗記ばかりすると思考力が落ちる研究結果を地でゆく人種。
東大卒、東大に入れなかった早慶レベルも、ソニーなど、韓国人や中国人に勝てない「奇跡的」無能がバレつつある。
塾が地方にも増え、頭の良くないヤツがドーピング（塾通い）して、金と受験テクで東大に入っている。合格点が上がって、本当に頭のいい受験テクを使わずに高3だけで良い点が取れたギフテッド高校生が消えた（社会のどこかに埋もれている）。
失われた20年は、コイツらドーピング塾っ子が急増した世代（50代）が、企業の主力になったせいで、ずっと失われた・・・は続く。台湾人の方が賢くコミュ力も高い。
戦後の高度成長もアニメも音楽も、偏差値に関係ない人が中心。「本当の知性は、知識でなく想像力だ（アインシュタイン）」。
米国の大学は教育の本質をわかっているから、ドーピング中国人を排除し、レジュメや飛び級等で「恣意的に」選ぶ。
東大卒を官僚や政治家やマスコミ（言論自由指数、韓国より低い67位）など、答えのない仕事に就かせるべきでない。
子供の時から友達と遊ばずに塾に行くと、新興宗教の信者そっくりで点数・偏差値が人の価値と考える（欧米にそんな信者はいない）。
同級生を点数で見下すため、人格形成も失敗するようで、モラルもコミュ力も低く、「三流政治」が日本の伝統（東大法学部＝三流人材であることを自ら証明）。
海外で通用しない、大人になった暗記小僧は「思考しない」職に就かせるべき。林修氏のような答えのある塾講師でもして、開成や灘などの「奇跡的」無能な高校生を再生産する仕事しかない。
東大が人間性を審査する米国式にすれば、若者は自分が正しいと信じる生き方に時間がさける。若者も欧米人も教育の本質でないと思っている、暗記クイズ王試験の負担が減って、生来の長所を伸ばせる。
子供は減ったのだから、日本は中韓式の科挙を止めて、教育を点数＋恣意的審査に変えるべきだ（欧米は大学だけでなく企業も面接で、人間性などで恣意的に採用する。まさか朝日新聞の入社試験みたいに、就職まで暗記クイズ王試験などしない。）。

Overview
South Walney forms the southern tip of a shingle island lying at the end of the Furness Peninsula. During the medieval period it was farmed by the monks of Furness Abbey, whilst during the 19th and 20th centuries salt, sand and gravel were extracted leaving large lagoons and some industrial remains.
What to see
Every spring, large numbers of lesser black backed and herring gulls still return and begin to set up nest territories. Other breeding birds include eider duck, greater black backed gull, shelduck, oystercatcher, mallard, moorhen and coot. Of the 250 bird species recorded, most are passage migrants on their way to or from breeding grounds. These include common species such as wheatear, redstart, willow warbler and gold crest, as well as more unusual species, which may have been blown off their normal migration route. In winter, large numbers of waders and wildfowl feed and roost around the nature reserve both on the gravel pools and the intertidal areas. Vegetated shingle being a highly unusual habitat, and yellow horned poppy, sea campion and biting stonecrop grow on the single beaches.
Small areas of dune grassland survive with pyramidal orchid, Portland spurge, restharrow and wild pansy. The old gravel workings have developed their own communities with striking plants such as viper's bugloss, henbane and alkanet. Saltmarsh occurs in Lighthouse Bay with species such as thrift, glasswort and sea purslane.

There are two reasons why a person faces the sea.
One, to enjoy a slice of shine in the sea like children bubbling over in the beach.
The other, to brush the dust of memory like an old man who misses old days, staring at the shine
quietly.
Those lead to only one meaning though they do not seem to overlap. It’s a rebirth.
I face myself to change tomorrow, a vague day into something certain.
That is the meaning of a rebirth.
I had a very sweet girlfriend when I was 18.
After she left, I knew the meaning of gentleness for the first time and also a true pain of loss. After
she left, how many times did I depend too much on her, doubt her, envy her and keep on telling lies
until I realized it is love?
I wonder whether a nobody like me could have given something to her who was struggling in the
daily life in those days. Giving something is arrogant conceit. It is nothing but self-satisfaction.
I had been thinking about such a thing.
However, I guess what she saw in me was because I had nothing. That‘s why she tried to see
something in me. Perhaps she found a slight possibility in me, a guy filled with ambiguous, unstable
tomorrow. But I wasted days depending too much on her gentleness.
Now I finally can convey how I felt in those days when we met.

It is located on the southern bank of the estuary of the Seine across from le Havre and very close to the exit of the Pont de Normandie. Its inhabitants are called Honfleurais. It is especially known for its old, beautiful picturesque port, characterized by its houses with slate-covered frontages, painted many times by artists, including in particular Gustave Courbet, Eugène Boudin, Claude Monet and Johan Jongkind, forming the école de Honfleur (Honfleur school) which contributed to the appearance of the Impressionist movement. The Sainte-Catherine church, which has a bell tower separate from the principal building, is the largest church made out of wood in France. The first written record of Honfleur is a reference by Richard III, Duke of Normandy, in 1027. By the middle of the 12th century, the city represented a significant transit point for goods from Rouen to England. Located on the estuary of one of the principal rivers of France with a safe harbour and relatively rich hinterland, Honfleur profited from its strategic position from the start of the Hundred Years' War. The town's defences were strengthened by Charles V in order to protect the estuary of the Seine from attacks from the English. This was supported by the nearby port of Harfleur. However, Honfleur was taken and occupied by the English in 1357 and from 1419 to 1450. When under French control, raiding parties often set out from the port to ransack the English coasts, including partially destroying the town of Sandwich, in Kent, England, in the 1450s. At the end of the Hundred Years' War, Honfleur benefited from the boom in maritime trade until the end of the 18th century. Trade was disturbed during the wars of religion in the 16th century. The port saw the departure of a number of explorers, in particular in 1503 of Binot Paulmierde Gonneville to the coasts of Brazil. In 1506, local man Jean Denis departed for Newfoundland island and the mouth of the Saint Lawrence. An expedition in 1608, organised by Samuel de Champlain, founded the city of Quebec in modern day Canada. After 1608, Honfleur thrived on trade with Canada, the West Indies, the African coasts and the Azores. As a result, the town became one of the five principal ports for the slave trade in France. During this time the rapid growth of the town saw the demolition of its fortifications on the orders of Colbert. The wars of the French revolution and the First Empire, and in particular the continental blockade, caused the ruin of Honfleur. It only partially recovered during the 19th century with the trading of wood from northern Europe. Trade was however limited by the silting up of the entrance to the port and development of the modern port at Le Havre. The port however still functions today.
