Not a Golden Arch in sight. A traditional greasy spoon, though quite clean and welcoming. Lovely old fashioned wooden chairs and tables with iron ends. A good selection of food and a meal and drink for under a fiver. Most of the people seemed to be regulars so that has to say something, In a road that is hardly short of cheap and cheerful eateries, it seemed to have a fair number of customers. And, to be honest, does anyone mind a missing apostrophe? Well...
Baseball, hot-dogs, apple pie ..... Americas favorite pastime. A player for Andover Kansas dives back to 1st base after the pitcher catches him trying to steal 2nd. I enjoy photographing sports when I can, with all the mood and action you never know what awaits you. To be honest I enjoy baseball games for the hot-dogs & beer ;)

HONEST - this is the last drip as I am turning into a right drip! But you can see where my brain lies - firmly in my stomach - I get the mug the right way up but the hearts upside down! And I am 3 days late for St Valentine's day.....duh!!

De la novela de Ronald Doahl, viene esta adaptacion de Nicolas Roeg en sus exploraciones en el ambito de film para ninhos, The Witches. Es un film demasiado bizarro. Y honestamente cualquier niño que haya visto este film debe tener pesadillas forzadas o un modo operandum bastante alternativo al resto de niños del jardin. Y bueno, es Doahl, y Roeg. Quiza la combinacion perfecta cuando tratarse de lo surreal y mistico se refiere. Roeg termina una epoca de despertar creativo bastante conflictiva durante los 70's y gran parte de los 80's con peliculas demasiadas opulentes en la sensibilidad y el alma del ser humano. Desde drogas, aliens humanos endrogados, thriller en Vienna de horror endrogado y prostitucion decadente endrogada, Mr. Roeg nunca toco sus proyectos como escapes ilogicos de realidades optimistas, sino que a lo contrario, exploraba el sique del ser humano de una manera oscura y visualmente extraordinaria. The Witches es un proyecto unico, una de esas veces donde un director bastante eccentrico es encargado de hacer una historia de niños que resultan tan perturbante hasta para un adulto. Es macabra, oscura, y muy deliciosa. Al vermela hace ya unos años, mis amigos y yo dedujimo que el niño del film es un fiel retrato de Kevin Bacon cuando era nene. Little Kevin Bacon Jr. le llamabamos. Bueno, es esa clase de film. te da hasta para dar nombres raros, por que es lo suficientemente hermoso y macabro para dejarlo marcado a uno toda la vida.
Here is another build for the MA, but to be honest I'm not very happy with it, and if I had time would redo this category: looks like I won't have time though. It's meant to be a ship going off the waterfall(the FP is much better in the second picture) into space with a sea-serpent on the edge. My partner and I are at a bit of odds with this situation. I've been avoiding going the rooftop tent way, because I don't want to leave Dunkel in the car. He could be fine, he might not be. He's been by my side, literally, for 6 years, every, single, day. (I work from home.) We did manage to get him in - I spent some money on a dog ramp that you attach to the ladder and prop up - worked like a charm. The problem was, he hogged the bed, and that's all there is up there. *sigh* We'll figure it out..... To be honest, part of me does feel it is unsafe to get him up there....thankfully this is just something fun to do, in lieu of using the RV. Thanks for listening, dog friends.
