This Hermit Crab is an incredibly tiny creature, barely larger than a thumb nail. With its intricately patterned shell, this miniature crab scampers along beaches and coral reefs, seeking shelter and food. Its petite size adds a touch of charm to its already mysterious allure, reminding us of the fascinating wonders that exist in our world, no matter how small.

One lone Hermit Thrush visited my gardens one day last Spring. This fall a single Hermit Thrust visited my gardens. I have no way of knowing if it was the same one, but...

I spotted this hermit thrush in one of our bushes today. Went back to compare to other shots I've had of this uncommon visitor to our yard, and saw that it's been November or December each of the other few times I've seen them. I need to pay more attention to patterns!

A Hermit Thrush hopped up on the Rhododendron to pose for photo. This photo was taken at my parents home in Sandy, Oregon.

I was at the lake to see if there were any duckling or goslings around. I didn't see any babies yet, but wandered across this little thrush who was singing a beautiful song.
