Moving about shot.
Saw two of these little characters on the UBC campus today, between the Engineering and new biology building on Main Mall. The reddish tail makes me think this is a Hermit Thrush.
Achmelvich is home to what is reputedly Europe's smallest castle, known locally as Hermit's Castle. The castle was built in the 1950s by an English architect(David Scott), who left the area shortly after completion, spending only a weekend in the castle he spent months building.
The castle was vandalised in the 1970s, when the windows were smashed and the door removed, but it is not unknown for people to use the castle as a bothy.
With the help of Billnbrooks, this cutie-pie was identified. It's a Hermit Thrush! It spends s lot of time on the ground, and is hard to see among the dead leaves. I've heard its song often, and it matches this:

In the Appalachian Mountains the Hermit Thrush is displaced at lower elevations by the Veery and at higher elevations by Swainson's Thrush, leaving the middle altitudes for the Hermit Thrush.
East of the Rocky Mountains the Hermit Thrush usually nests on the ground. In the West, it is more likely to nest in trees.
Her name is Anonymus, she lives on the estate of a well to do landlord and apparently has no desire to return to the world. The photo shows that from the point of view of beautiful natural surroundings the Hermit is to be envied.
To deliberately elect to sleep in something that looks like a bearhole, instead of in a comÂfortable bed, surÂrounded by all the accessories of civilization, is clearly not the action of an everyÂday 20th century woman. But then A. is not an everyday 20th century woman. She abominates nothing more than what is termed "civilized life" .

I noticed shops would set up little scenes infront of their store to entice customers... this was infront of a standing sushi bar.
The sushi was DELISH!!! Very fresh and fairly priced... their fatty tuna was $6 for 2 and most pieces were $1.50 each
