I took this picture of a church in the Beltline District of Calgary. Yesterday, I received my Perfect Photo Suite 8 and was trying it out - this is the result I got. Love it already.
Hidden in the trees above the Elafos and Elafina hotels at Profitis Ilias is this abandoned villa. Built as a holiday villa in the 1930s for the then Italian Governor of Rhodes, Cesare Maria De Vecchi, it was abandoned in the 1940s but then renovated in the 1950s by KIng Pavlos. It was later abandoned once more and is now a shadow of its former glory.

This is the first photo that I have taken in over a week. I abandoned my 365 after struggling to produce a crap photo day after day. It was depressing me!

Made a visit today to one of our favorite local bookstores, AFK Books Music & Movies. They sell mostly "like new" books, CDs, DVD,s and an amazing collection of vinyl records. They also buy your old books, tunes and movies. You don't get a lot for them but every bit helps in paying for the new stack we haul back home. Canon Powershot SD870 IS, 1/40 sec @ f/2.8, ISO 200.
