Lovely view from our log cabin in Selkirk

HDR? No, whilst at the Wolfburn Launch Party I noticed that the indoor / outdoor light was pretty evenly balanced as the sun set. One shot, one kill.

I stopped off at the side of this field on my way home from work today. Working on a Sunday is wrong but thats another story....

Anyway, I liked how only half the field had been sown with seed so I walked to where the 'divide' was.

It turns out the the farmer cant drive straight in his tractor. Maybe he had one too many ciders?

Hidden in the trees above the Elafos and Elafina hotels at Profitis Ilias is this abandoned villa. Built as a holiday villa in the 1930s for the then Italian Governor of Rhodes, Cesare Maria De Vecchi, it was abandoned in the 1940s but then renovated in the 1950s by KIng Pavlos. It was later abandoned once more and is now a shadow of its former glory.

Picture of a civilian owned Mi-24 Hind at the 2017 Aviation Nation at Nellis Air Force Base, Las Vegas Nevada. I usually don't care for HDR type images, but I was playing with NIK software and I kinda like this one.

What - another self portrait?!! This is especially for the group, 52 1/2 Weeks of 2009!

This picture was taken a while ago.....I have been experimenting with HDR effects.

Tomorrow is my very last official day as a teacher following a 34 year career.

As sad as I am, I am going out with a bang!

The youngsters above are having the week of their lives working with some of the finest session musicians in the world at a special rock school I have set up for them. Tomorrow is the big gig. They have worked hard and playe hard and deserve a day to remember tomorrow...I am pretty sure I will!

Photo of Mt Hood from Mt Tabor Park in Portland, Oregon taken on Thanksgiving Day morning for Our Daily Challenge: Getting to the Point.

See below for a view of Mt St Helen taken from the same location. I saw Mt Rainier also. This was a first for me from this spot. I'll save that shot for Sliders Sunday. Views of the mountains like these are very rare at this time of the year. Usually it is too cloudy. This is certainly something to be thankful for.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
