Have you been to the new Harambe Theatre?
One of the places I go every time I come to Animal Kingdom is the Harambe Theatre to see the Festival of the Lion King. I love this show and it makes me feel so good after. This theatre is so beautiful. A friend of mine said this about it and I have to agree., "Even though it's quite new, it feels as though it's been here since day one." The are is very well designed.

I'm always making comparisons between Disneyland and Walt Disney World. One of them is how each park plays to feature Finding Nemo. With Disneyland, the submarine voyage in Tomorrowland is nice, but I still don't really care for it. I liked the old submarine attraction. Sure some of the effects are really astonishing and and artistry of the coral was amazing to hear about, but Walt Disney World...

What part of Maelstrom are you going to miss?
On the last night of Maelstrom, a buddy and I decided to pay our respects and ride it one last time. It didn't occur to us at the time that we would be the last ones ever to watch the movie at the end as guests. I was the last guest photographer to photograph this area before they change the ride forever. I'm not sure what I thought of...

Which Country would you like to see in World Showcase?
EPCOT's World Showcase has always fascinated me. I love different cultures and getting to know them. I have adopted many traditions from them and try to better myself. This was the vision of the World Showcase and hopefully bridging better relationships between nations. There is so much room to put in new countries and there are rumors that they are in the process now. The one I would love to see here...

Now that you've seen all 4 parks, which tree do you like best?
Animal Kingdom got all festive again this year with a great tree. So many things to look at and I had so much fun trying to get the right shot. I had another in the wings, but this one beat out by just a bit. Maybe I'll post it next year. I hope you enjoyed these photos of the Christmas Trees from the parks. I will be posting yet one more tomorrow from a resort. Make your guesses today...

Which Resort has the best Christmas Tree?
When I went to visit the Contemporary for a Disney fan event. Well mainly the store part of it and maybe hopefully see Tony Baxter again. I had about an hour to kill before I thought I should go over and line up to get into the store (which I started the line and met some great people), so I thought I might take a couple photos of the Contemporary Resort. I walked around and found the...

It has been a very busy summer. Since the beginning of May, I have been moved over to Hollywood Studios and worked 50+ weeks with Star Wars Weekends and then the Frozen Summer Fun. It has been a long time and finally my hours are cut back enough for me to get back to editing photos again. Where are the best snacks in Animal Kingdom?

Have you eaten at Restaurantosaurus?
I wanted to take it back to the little details of Walt Disney World for today because there are some of my favorite things that aren't huge postcard of calendar type shots that need their day in the spotlight. For instance this little gem. The Restaurantosaurus Trailer is a Airstream Trailer attached to Restaurantosaurus in DinoLand USA and very few people go near it or even sit in it to have their meal. The restaurant is a great place...

What is your favorite part of Storybook Circus?
I came into this area not knowing what to expect. I could see Dumbo from where I stood, but other than that I knew there was a store. Walking around I found this area to be quaint and lovely. This entrance is simple, yet majestic in my opinion. I really enjoyed the rides over here and above everything, I am envious of the costumes. I am now...

Do you think there should be more frightening things around the parks?
So I did one of my favorite things to do for this shot. I stepped back from where I was to find a new and great shot. I love the decorations for Fall and Halloween on the Main Street Station. But this got me thinking. Magic Kingdom is the family friendly Halloween party place, but is there room for another park to come in with their own Halloween fun? What about Hollywood Studios? They already have...

Which Pavilion is your favorite?
I have watched many movies that take place in Paris, France. And one show I remember watching in my youth was Highlander. A few seasons actually took place in Paris and I'm not sure exactly why, but Seattle wasn't being very nice to having people shoot a TV show with sword fighting in their slums. I loved the show, and one of my favorite things was where Duncan McLeod of the Clan McLeod would have his...

Abandoned properties are everywhere in and around the city of Detroit. Roosevelt Park is no exception to this. Luckily, the Roosevelt Hotel and surrounding park area are the subject of a revival effort from Phillip Cooley (owner of Slow's BBQ, mmmmmm) and members of the Roosevelt Park Revival project.
Roosevelt Park is an important part of the original "Corktown" in Detroit, Michigan. Many Irish immigrant families used this area to spend time with their friends and familes or tailgate before Detroit Tiger Games. Who knows what the future will hold for this area? Some ideas include a skateboard park and improved housing for the area.
Michigan Central Station is one of the most iconic structures in Detroit. It is in a very sad state of disrepair and its future remains uncertain. Recently, there has been some renewed interest in renovating this structure - the owner (Manuel Moroun) has committed to replacing the roof and the windows to prevent further damage to the structure. Perhaps this decision will entice a tenant to move in.
Some interesting facts about this building include:
- Built in 1913 at a cost of $15 million USD
- Appears in several films such as Transformers (2006)
- Prominent role in Eminem's music videos, espcially "8-Mile" and "Beutiful".
- The building is of the Beaux-Arts Classical style of architecture, designed by the Warren & Wetmore and Reed and Stem firms who also designed New York City's Grand Central Terminal.
- It's about 500,000 square feet
- The main waiting room on the main floor was modeled after an ancient Roman bathhouse with walls of marble and vaulted ceilings
If you ever get the chance, be sure to stop by and visit this site before it's gone or changed forever. It's been virtually ignored since 1956.

Which is your favorite Gingerbread creation?
One morning I happen to visit the Contemporary Resort for a Cast Member function and on my way out I found this wild gingerbread creation of the beloved Frozen cast in front of the Small World backdrop. Where do you feel like you have really stepped away from reality and gone somewhere else?
The other day, I got the chance to sit in front of Mr. Joe Rohde and listen to him go on about how amazing the expansion will be for the Harambe Market and how Africa will blow our minds. He showed photos of the real places in Africa and how they match up with Disney counterparts. I was fascinated by how they...

Where is this in Walt Disney World?
On my many adventures through this new world to me, I come across places that are more peaceful than others. I like these kinds of places. This one in particular is one of my favorites. Do you feel like you're in Toy Story when you visit Pizza Planet?
Of all the places in Walt Disney World, I've been to Pizza Planet quite a few times. More than I should admit. I remember the first time I stepped foot in here, I knew that at one point I would be posting a picture of it so I walked around while my friends ordered their food. Are you excited to see the renovations completed on the Polynesian Resort?
With there being so much construction all over the parks, the resorts are having their fair share as well. The Polynesian is getting a pretty nice overhaul and I think will be amazing, but for the time being, there is not much to take pictures of, except walls. I happen to be walking from my bus stop to the Monorail and I stumbled upon this amazing angle. I love the theming here. I can't wait till...

One of the fun things to do in Magic Kingdom is to venture to Frontierland and go to this tucked away location a try your hand at shooting targets to make things move or light up. Which attraction in Walt Disney World has the best queue?
Wondering around Disney's Animal Kingdom late at night, I stumbled upon an area I had never been as a guest. I was so turned around yet dumbfounded by the beauty and detail in this place. What can you learn from a photo like this?
It was a nice morning in Animal Kingdom when I started my day. The clouds were mostly flat and the air was crisp. What did you take a picture of that you were glad you had your camera on you?
When I go to EPCOT I seem to forget about this side of the park. It's not that it's good, it's just that I have not given it the full attention it deserves yet. I haven't even experiences Soarin' on this side of the world yet. But I did come to the park one night and walked over to this side briefly. I saw this sunset and couldn't help take a shot. What do you think of the architecture of Animal Kingdom Lodge?
I don't usually like to make complaints on this blog, but today I would like to ask you all, why did the architects design Animal Kingdom Lodge so oddly? I don't get why you have to walk to 3 different half levels just to get to places. I got so confused just to get to this place. Have you seen The Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights in Disney's Hollywood Studios?

I love this place, the Princess Fairytale Hall. The building is so nice and the theming is over the top. I have yet to see inside, but the exterior is marvelous. What do you like about the Wilderness Lodge?
While exploring the Wilderness Lodge at the Walt Disney Resort, I found this little area in one of the other buildings. What you are not able to see is the fireplace behind the bird cage.
