I did a supportive photo shoot for a beloved person that currently is struggling with the diagnosis of breast cancer and going through a hard time with chemo therapy. Supporting in any way is good, even with bringing a smile through some supportive Stormtroopers under the command of Darth Vader :-)

This MOC consists of 1,559 pieces to create a LEGO-recreation of the iconic Command Center inside Echo Base where all operations where overseen and General Rieekan as well as Princess Leia coordinated the fight against the Empire from during the Battle of Hoth.

The Millenium Falcon cake is done! I thought I'd put up a quick picture now before I run off to the birthday party. This is all cake- the only things that aren't edible are the Lego Figures. I can't wait to show Eli his cake- although if this is what we are doing for his 4th birthday, I'm a little worried about what I'll have to make for next year!

Desk display Micro Millennium Falcons
Both versions in one package.
A few days ago I decided to mod the Death Star Trench Run set. In doing so I created a micro Millennium Falcon which actually turned out to be a lot better and more robust than I thought it would.
So I decided to make instructions for this Falcon and upload them to my Rebrickable page. But… there are a lot of micro falcons on Rebrickable.. but, maybe not that many that let you build both versions in one set of instructions.
So that’s what I did. Both Falcons, original trilogy and Kessel run. Both available in one package now at:

After Han Solo was frozen in carbonite, on the orders of Darth Vader (who wanted to test the process before you use it on Luke Skywalker), the bounty hunter Boba Fett brought aboard the Slave I to deliver it to Jabba the Hutt.

Here’s a tiny scene, loosely inspired by the truly crap Battle on Takodana set 75139, but now very small and with vehicles! Kylo Ren’s Shuttle dominates the scene but I’ve also put together a First Order Transport, Resistance Troop Transport and a tiny battle between Finn, Han, Chewie and the Stormtroopers in the ruins, with Poe nailing TIEs above. For completeness I’ve also built a shrunken Maz Kanata’s Castle, before it got destroyed! Chewbacca is injured in the escape from the Eravana, so Rey helps Han Solo to pilot the Millennium Falcon to Takodana. During the journey, BB-8 shows the group the map to Luke Skywalker - it is incomplete, but Han still agrees to help get the droid to the Resistance. He also offers Rey a job as a crew member, but for some reason she says she must return to Jakku. After landing on the planet, Chewbacca stays behind on the Falcon and the others head to Maz Kanata's castle for help.

Han Solo here managed to keep his senses from people who scams and pay low in their transport. Although he can fly the fastest ship,he still carries the misfortune of Jabba's money with him.He still haven't pay Jabba such amount of money,and Jabba's bounty hunters will find him by all means.

I was given the Death Star Trench Run set (75329) as a Father’s Day present. It’s a really fun build and intended to show an iconic moment in the film. But I don’t think the set shows the most iconic part of that sequence. The best part for me is when Han Solo swoops in, obliterating one Tie fighter, causing the other to collide with Vaders Tie, sending him spiralling off into space.
To turn the set into this moment I needed to first lengthen it by 16 studs on both the ground and back wall. I then needed to fill these areas staying faithful to the style from the main set, but still bringing in new textures and shapes.
Then of course, I needed to create my own Millennium Falcon to scale. The cockpit piece from the micro fighter Falcon set was the perfect place to start and a few hours later, this is the result. NOW it shows an iconic moment!

Comparing to the original Han Solo and Chewbacca Star Wars Black (plastic) 6-inch figures. You can see these "Elite" figures are a bit bigger than the Star Wars Black figures, since I'd expect Finn to be the same height as Han and Rey to be a little shorter.

My latest LEGO Star Wars Mini-Scale Kessel Run Millennium Falcon rendered by tz_machine and sized to an official LEGO® nano-scale minifig.
The Falcon contains 561 pieces.
I tried to get as much details into the tiny space as possible, which was quiet challenging, especially the recreation of the curved top panels as well as the extended front part.
I designed additional Landing Gear and a removable Landing Ramp to display the Falcon on it's own. Very important for me was to design the Falcon and stand in a very sturdy and robust way, so you can really swoosh around the Falcon without having to worry about the stability at any point.
