Half Moon is a trip. This grand, verdant oasis on Montego Bay is the sort of place James Bond would vacation (he did), a place where you may find regal English horses swimming in the sea (you will) and private pockets of respite around every corner (there are). Half Moon encompasses everything you imagined a Jamaican vacation to be – yah, mon.

Half Moon Cay in the Bahamas is Holland America's private beach. It is absolutely perfect with white sand and clear blue water. These little fish were with the stingrays. One of them came out of the water to steal the squid out of my hand before I could feed it to the stingray!

I found this project while browsing Pinterest. But all I could find was pictures and no actual DIY tutorials, so this is my version. This half-moon cradle is inspired by "Le Berceau lune d'Heidi" from Crème Anglaise. You can purchase the cradle directly in their e-shop.
You'll need:
(2) 1/2" thick plywood
Pallets in relatively good shape
Box of 300 screws 1.5."
Jigsaw
Miter saw
Kreg jig
Level
Tape measure
A complete pdf downloadable tutorial of the moon cradle is available here.
