I only managed to capture half the bird but that’s better than nothing . It does give a nice look at one wing at least of this Roseate Spoonbill . Another shot taken at Jefferson Island in Southern Louisiana

I was watching the live football last evening and looked out of the window at half time to see a magical sunset sky.
So out came the camera and tripod and I quickly took this shot of the copse behind our house. Much better than the game I was watching for sure!!
Half opened Dandelion. I did not pick it but put a sheet around it to get the monochrome background. So the dandelion could open the next day completely for its visitors: bugs and a lot of bees.
Another weekend away with the FFF+ gang. We were a little half hearted about our chances of a successful early morning shoot, with bad weather forecast. However we decided to ignore the reports and head out anyway ... so glad we did as we were treated to a lovely start to the day.
Sorry I'm way behind on everyones streams and commenting. I shall endeavour to get on top of things this afternoon.

Half Dome Mountain is a granite dome found in Yosemite National Park in California. This was take from the Sentinel Bridge waiting for the sun to set.

Our first day back in Yosemite National Park since it was closed to COVID-19 pandemic started. This incredible and iconic view of Half Dome is seen from Oak Flat road located outside of Yosemite Valley. I had to get my long lens out for this shot.
