Colonia Flor Blanca San Salvador El Salvador, Centroamérica.

Wandering in the forest.

"Unlike any other garden, the Music Garden infused with the spirit of music and essence of dance has the innate ability to inspire and touch the artist in its every visitor. It is a place where the young, old, creative and those looking for inspiration find solace. Built in an attempt to bring communities together and with the sole intention to offer a peaceful, serene hideout, the Music Garden is all this and much more.

"The gardens are the pictorial representation of Johann Sebastian Bach’s Suite No. 1 in G Major for unaccompanied cello. The gardens were a collaborated effort of world renowned cellist Yo Yo Ma and famous landscape designer Julie Moir Messervy along with contributions from several architects from the city’s Parks, Forestry and Recreation Department. Each section of the garden is an artistic representation of various contours of the suite in Bach’s compilations. Amazingly inspiring, the Music Garden is one place that is nestled in the heart of the city but yet manages to steal its audiences away from the hustle- bustle of city life. The garden holds 45 minute guided tours on summer days, or you can also opt for the self-guided tour consisting of a 70 minute audio tour directed by Ma and Messervy."

Self-Guided Tour - Toronto's Waterfront via GPSMyCity

As a time conscious person who always strives to maximize productivity, I can't aimlessly wander around (and feel super guilty about just going out during this unprecedented time). The drawback to staying indoors so much is that I've not been active as my regular self. Recommended to do some walking outdoors, I decided to occasionally venture out when the weather permits and to find routes that are socially distanced from others. However, instead of doing so randomly, I also aim to learn a little more about the city I live in.

Following some self-guided tours I've found online, I'll be sharing a series of urban adventures via images and "descriptions" provided by their sources here.

This poor guy had to dress up in a cow costume advertising for Chicka-Fila in 8F weather.

Luckily for him he was being guided by a poor girl trying to be as bundle up as possible.

This woman injured her back, and has since then not been able to do much physical labour. Instead she works as a guide at the Kanch Mahal, Sikandra (India) a harem and later a hunting lodge for Mughal Emperor Jehangir.

As a guide dog raiser for the GDB organization, I participated in an outing with other raisers and puppies in training. During the event, we learned new skills from the GDB Statewide Leader, trained various puppies, and gave recommendations to each other. Each puppy went through and extensive evaluation and grooming. As a raiser, I learned how my puppy, Nimble, is doing and received new training accessories. As a fun activity afterwards, we all played with the Easter Bunny.

My guiding setup arrived during clear sky's but a very bright moon so I havent been able to image anything yet.

Just getting used to setting everything up as well as PHD.

Here is the graph from that first night showing 30 mins of guiding. The RA seems to be pretty flat so I assume my Polar Alignment isn't too bad? The Dec was oscillating quite a bit but it seemed to be levelling off. Balance maybe?

I'm planning to setup tonight and have another go.

Up at 3 AM for a work issue. This is not a good way to start the work week. The storm clouds in this shot seem appropriate as I look at the work week just beginning. While in Yellowstone, we went on a couple of guided hikes. I really like this shot of our ranger as he scans the horizon as storm clouds gather and threaten to open up on us. We ended up not getting wet on our hike, but it certainly looked like it might at any time.

According to our tour guide, Hollywood filmed several movies at the mountain on the left. One is Jurassic Park, if my memory serves me right.
