These are some of my favorite types of photos to take,
They have a way to transporting the viewer back in time. They are not only beautiful, they are also grounding.
A solitary owl perches at the very tip of a slender evergreen, its body perfectly centered against a vast, glowing full moon. Using track hoe to install grounding plate on #16. The new grounding plate system is connected by cadweld to the existing ground rod and grounding wire. Extensive grounding is necessary to protect the electrical components from surges (primarily lightning).
Troubleshooting the LED took some time. I replaced it, and still couldn’t get it to work. I tested the old LED and saw that it was actually good, so I put the original back in and started poking around at ground connections. That’s when I realized the DC power connector wasn’t grounded to the chassis. I ran a new cable to the screw holding the tiny LED board in.
