BRP Gregorio del Pilar (FF-15) is a frigate of the Philippine Navy and the lead ship of her class. She was the second ship of the Philippine Navy to be named after Gregorio del Pilar, a Filipino revolutionary general known for his role at the Battle of Tirad Pass. She was originally designated as "PF-15" from 2011 to mid-2016 when the PN adapted a new code designation, which re-designated her to "FF-15".
From 1967–2011 the ship was a Hamilton-class high endurance cutter of the United States Coast Guard that was named USCGC Hamilton (WHEC-715). The U.S. decommissioned the cutter on March 28, 2011 and the Philippines acquired it under the Excess Defense Articles and the Foreign Assistance Act and is one of three ex-US Coast Guard Hamilton-class cutters to serve the Philippine Navy.
Andrés Bonifacio (FF-17) is a frigate of the Philippine Navy and the third Gregorio del Pilar-class frigate In commission. She is the second ship of the Philippine Navy to be named after Andrés Bonifacio, a Filipino revolutionary leader, regarded as the "Father of the Philippine Revolution" and one of the most influential national heroes of the Philippines.
From 1967–2016 the ship was a Hamilton-class high endurance cutter of the United States Coast Guard that was named USCGC Boutwell (WHEC-719). The U.S. decommissioned the cutter in early 2016 and the Philippines acquired it under the Excess Defense Articles and the Foreign Assistance Act.

Low impedance grounding is essential to protect transmitting facilities and personnel from external or internal electrical anomalies. Copper clad driven ground rods are often insufficient due to high ground resistively or a limited installation area.
The JMV Copper Rods provides a superior, stable, low resistance interface with true earth while minimizing installation area and time. The JMV Copper Rods constantly conditions the surrounding soil with a self-contained electrolyte enhancer. When combined with moisture, the resulting solution reduces the resistance between the electrode and earth, providing years of maintenance free, stable, low impedance in a wide variety of soil conditions.
Our Copper Rods are available in both vertical and horizontal configurations and in single piece lengths from 4 to 20 feet.
Standard and flange Copper Rods can be shipped for overnight delivery.
Horizontal Copper Rods with a large, easy flow bending radius are used when soil conditions will not permit vertical installations. Horizontal Rods can also be connected by a bolted flange to form long, continuous lengths.
Purposes
Low impedance Earthing system for:
Lightning protection
AC power systems
Static discharge and transient currents
Features
Stable impedance values over the life of the product
Up to ten times the conductivity of a driven rod
Three times the service life of a driven rod
Reduced installation area and time
Overnight delivery
Most models of the JMV Copper Rods are immediately available and can be shipped for overnight delivery. Ground wire attachment options include a two hole copper buss bar. Optional inspection wells are available. The JMV Copper Rods fully meets and exceeds the 1996 Telecommunication’s Industry Standard (TIA/EIA-RS-222-F) concerning the
primary and secondary electrical connection between a structure and earth. The JMV Copper Rods is the first choice of the Broadcast, Cellular, and PCS industries. JMV also manufactures the Copper Earthing Electrode and GI Earthing Electrode, an anode grounding electrode which will prevent galvanic or electrolytic corrosion of underground steel members. In addition to providing an excellent interface with true earth, our electrodes addresses the need for Cathodic protection.

I practice *grounding* myself when I run barefoot to Crystal Pier. Most of my life has been in friendship with the ocean. Crystal Pier is also *grounded* here as she absorbs the 'energy' of the sea. I love to feel the well-worn pilings of this beloved pier...pilings that were made by people long gone now. I reflect in peace and gratitude here before running back to the jetty...
Lightning damages everything that stands in its way. Small appliances and devices, when exposed to an overvoltage resulting from constant load switching up to a few amps, can be easily protected by a surge protector. However, a direct lightning strike of billion amps is other game. Lightning Eliminators & Consultants provides an effective lightning protection systems including the grounding rod acts as a safe pathway for the lightning current to reach earth.

Last time we took a walk on the wild side as we focused on the act of “being” and the importance of grounding oneself while looking inward for healing, prior to addressing the needs of our planet. Until the individual is of sound mind & body there is no way to truly help others or tackle the big issues, such as saving our home planet.
You’ve read and hopefully had time to implement some of the pro-active steps to self healing into your daily ore weekly regime. This brings us to the present moment: understanding the significance of “being”; implementing through actions, and ultimately “doing” what needs to be done. We have been led to believe that one person cannot make a difference and most feel overwhelmed or confused on how, what, where, when to begin the journey toward co-creating social change. We are here to share small adjustments that make a huge impact.
"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has." -Margaret Mead
There are many ways to create change that appear small at first until you analyze our combined efforts and they begin in the home.
-Purchase products made with recycled materials
-Find a way to recycle everything versus sending to a landfill
-Start a garden
-Eat less / Drink Less / Need less (be conservative)
-Get involved in your local community
-Add a very good water filtration system in your home
-Get your fruits & veggies locally – Shop the Farmers Markets
-Read labels and make the switch to food that is actually good for you
-Carpool when ever you can
-Learn how to sew, knit, crotchet, cook, bake and canning
-Create a Survival Prepared Kit
“People who wait for changes to occur on the outside before they commit to making changes on the inside will never make any changes at all. Unknown Source”
To put the world in order, we must first put the nation in order; to put the nation in order, we must put the family in order; to put the family in order, we must cultivate our personal life; and to cultivate our personal life, we must first set our hearts right.
Confucius (BC 551-BC 479) Chinese philosopher.
“I have been impressed with the urgency of doing. Knowing is not enough; we must apply. Being willing is not enough; we must do.” - Leonardo da Vinci
“If you don’t like the way the world is, you change it. You have an obligation to change it. You just do it one step at a time.” - Marian Wright Edelman
“Each person has inside a basic decency and goodness. If he listens to it and acts on it, he is giving a great deal of what it is the world needs most. It is not complicated but it takes courage. It takes courage for a person to listen to his own goodness and act on it.” - Pablo Casals
“Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities no doubt crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; begin it well and serenely and with too high a spirit to be encumbered with your old nonsense.” - Ralph Waldo Emerson
“The world is not dangerous because of those who do harm but because of those who look at it without doing anything” ~ Albert Einstein
"Belief without action is the ruin of the soul." -Edward Abbey
"I am convinced that if we are to get on the right side of the world revolution, we as a nation must undergo a radical revolution of values. We must rapidly begin the shift from a "thing-oriented" society to a "person-oriented" society. When machines and computers, profit motives and property rights are considered more important than people, the giant triplets of racism, materialism, and militarism are incapable of being conquered." -Martin Luther King, Jr., "When Silence Is Betrayal," 1967
"Every great change must expect opposition because it shakes the very foundation of privilege." -Lucretia Mott, Quaker abolitionist and women's rights activist

Stones:
Red: Coral, grounding, protective, also quite obviously connected to element of water.
Blue: Lapis Latzuli, connecting to the Ether, the base on which physical elements rest, universal connector, wisdom and dreamtime reality portal.
Green: Malachite, very heart-empowering, in a way grounding stone with strong connection to nature´s original intelligence, ability to heal and solve disharmonious stuck-ups of energy.
Metallic colored stones on next to red stones; Iron pyrite, grounding, synchronizing and connecting different energetical levels represented by the elements. Telepathy inducing simply because of good grounding ability and the connective properties.
Light blue pieces; Kyanite. Harmonizing,, angels stone as some people call it.
Upper corner of inner double-triangles; Amethyst, cosmic connector and organizer of energy... clears and heals energy on all levels.
Central crystal: Clear quartz-crystal from Madagascar. Amplifies energetical properties of all other stones used as well as works as the amplifier of the whole device...

Manukau Heads infamous tidal sandbar caused New Zealand’s most disastrous shipwreck – February 1863 grounding of warship HMS Orpheus, which claimed 185 lives.
The same signal mast was later toppled in an act (still unproven) of indigenous Maori rebellion. Treasure and relics from the Orpheus and other harbour wrecks continue to be found.
Manukau Heads Lighthouse was New Zealand’s number 12 and the first to burn paraffin (also known as Kerosene) when lit in 1874. During the following 112 years it was illuminated by oil vapor, acetylene gas, and electricity. It was, also rebuilt (1944) on a concrete base and officially ‘retired’ in 1986, when all lantern parts were paced in storage.
In 2006 the lantern and prisms were reunited in a timber replica of the original tower in it’s current location (almost 1 kilometer north of original site). It reopened as a non-working visitor experience with a symbolic relighting 132 years and 23 days from the date of inauguration
