After exhausting all subjects for chiseling, the 7th century Pallavas found grooming of monkeys as an interesting subject! I was actually impressed the way it stood out photographically. The darker background helped to isolate the monkeys, and the carvings on the left gave a subtle sense of direction as they gaze at the monkeys.

I have been very careful to avoid the words 'groomer' or 'grooming' leading up to today. Yet, somehow, by the looks on they're faces, they know.

This dog is a hair machine. It takes at least 2 hours to get her groomed and I'm a sweaty, hairy mess when it's done. She looks fabulous; I want a shower. Oct. 2015.
