I know, I already have a few such pictures on my photostream, but I like this subspecies of pelican, they are so colurful, and this specimen was looking good while grooming, the light was lovely. Just the background could have been better.

Pet groomer in this tiny building on the sliver of land between two larger buildings. From a an exploration of Preston, Maryland Eastern Shore a couple of months back.
Kevin is often quite cherry, and I think this captures his smile quite well.
Again, black and white out of nacessity - you had a bright natural light behind him that was a lot colder than the very warm indoor lights. I had to put a graduated filter on the left just to balance the two light sources. But worth the effort to get this I think.

I had to cut her front area very close, but her back and face came out very well, I think, and I'll work on her sides more, another day. She seems to be enjoying her new cut, running around out back and prancing around even more than usual.
As Bonkers reached the end, he needed a lot of help. We had to change his diaper several times a day and clean him up and give him a shower a few times a week. Bonkers enjoyed the attention and looked forward to it (but not the shower, which he tolerated for about one minute before trying to escape).
Even the village church got into the act at the 2015 Appleby village scarecrow and open garden festival. This splendid looking couple greeted visitors to the church.

I found the diagram for the triangle box in my last year's Origami Calender. After folding it, it was obvious that this works for any polygon. So I made some more. Most fun was the square box: Starting with a pentagon, just to end up with something square was kind of weird....
Today Malo came with me to dog grooming training. Having spent 6 hours in the salon, he's here totally ready for fun. 10 min later and he was comatose on the couch.
the groom is in a gray suit and his bride is in a strapless sweet heart gown decorated with lace. she's carrying a teardrop shaped posy with white flowers.
An unusual groom's cake- the man is an artist who works with sculpted media on a flat surface. The bride decided to take one of his "paintings" and turn it into a 3-D presentation for the wedding.
