I don't know what this is, but it's very pretty, although it does look as if it might devour me, tickling me with its hairy bits while it does so. I shall try to find it when it blossoms.

A half of this was my dinner cause there was nothing to eat in my house .. oh well.

Underwater closeup of green sea turtle in the waters of Punalu'u beach, a black sand beach of the Big Island, Hawaii. This is a really good spot for swimming, snorkeling, and seeing turtles.

I colored some linen the other night, trying to capture more of a grassy green. I came up with a few different shades. This is one of them.
This hopper was the size of my thumb nail. I found him messing around in the grass with my macro lens. Was a pretty good find.
Light bulb covered in spray paint and shot with a pellet gun.
I just got a second light and am playing some new lighting setups. I'm loving the flexibility of have two lights!
This scene along the River Li looks (to me at least!) a bit like a humid, green version of Arizona's dusty dry Monument Valley - you might need to squint a bit?
Karst topography is a landscape shaped by the dissolution of a layer or layers of soluble bedrock, usually carbonate types such as limestone or dolomite. Subterranean rivers, cave systems and extravagant surface deformation due to weathering (all found along the Li River) are examples of some of the features found in karst scenery.
The pinnacle in the centre appears to lean unsupported to the left. But on closer inspection of the image, an almost-white cliff with a vertical edge can be seen under the darker vegetation, holding up the edifice.
South China Karst, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is one of the world’s most spectacular examples of humid tropical to sub-tropical karst landscapes. It is a serial site spread over the provinces of Guizhou, Guangxi, Yunnan and Chongqing and covers 176,228 hectares. It contains the most significant types of karst landforms, including tower karst, pinnacle karst and cone karst formations, along with other spectacular characteristics such as natural bridges, gorges and large cave systems. The Guilin Karst component in Guangxi province is located within Lijiang National Park and contains fenglin (tower) and fengcong (cone) karst formations.

If you are in Al Ain, Abu dhabi, Green Mubazzarah is a lovely place to visit, and it’s only about 20 minutes from the Hilton Hotel. You can drive from there to Le Mercure Hotel to spend the afternoon by the pools if you wanted.
Green Bay is a city in and the county seat of Brown County in the U.S. state of Wisconsin, at the head of Green Bay, a sub-basin of Lake Michigan, at the mouth of the Fox River. It is 581 feet (177 m) above sea level and 112 miles (180 km) north of Milwaukee. The population was 104,057 at the 2010 census. Lambeau Field is an outdoor athletic stadium in the north central United States, located in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The home field of the Green Bay Packers of the National Football League (NFL), it opened in 1957 as City Stadium, replacing the original City Stadium at East High School as the Packers' home field. Informally known as New City Stadium for its first eight seasons, it was renamed in August 1965 in memory of Packers founder, player, and long-time head coach, Curly Lambeau, who had died two months earlier. The stadium's street address has been 1265 Lombardi Avenue since August 1968, when Highland Avenue was renamed in honor of former head coach Vince Lombardi. It sits on a block bounded by Lombardi Avenue (north); Oneida Street (east); Stadium Drive and Valley View Road (south); and Ridge Road (west). The playing field at the stadium has a conventional north-south alignment, at an elevation of 640 feet (195 m) above sea level. The stadium completed its latest renovation in the summer of 2013 with the addition of 7,000 seats high in the south end zone. About 5,400 of the new seating is general, while the remaining 1,600 seats are club or terrace suite seating. With a capacity of 81,441, Lambeau Field is the fifth-largest stadium in the NFL with standing room, but is fourth in normal capacity. It is now the largest venue in the state, edging out Camp Randall Stadium (80,321) at the University of Wisconsin in Madison. Lambeau Field is the oldest continually operating NFL stadium. In 2007, the Packers completed their 51st season at Lambeau, breaking the all-time NFL record set by the Chicago Bears at Wrigley Field (1921–70). The green thorntail (Discosura conversii) is a small hummingbird that is a resident breeder from Costa Rica to western Ecuador. It occurs at middle elevations from 700–1,400 m (2,300–4,600 ft) but may descend lower early in the wet season. In Costa Rica and Panama it is confined to the Caribbean slopes.
This is a forest canopy species. The nest is undescribed, but a published image shows a female constructing a nest on a thin branch, so it is presumably similar to other cup nests built by species such as the green-breasted mango. All hummingbirds lay two white eggs incubated by the female alone.
