More Autumn ferns turning from green to lovely golden hues

Coedydd Maentwrog, on the north side of the Vale of Ffestiniog, is the largest wood in the Vale. The national nature reserve consists of two separate sections: Coed Llyn Mair, and a group of three forests., to golden hues .

The dorsal views of many Comma species are very similar as in this shot of the dorsal side of this Green Comma which looks like the dorsal side of other Comma species.

 

The Commas have cryptic camouflage patterns on the ventral side, as well as as irregular cuts at the edge of their wings as seen on the ventral view also posted this evening.

A pair of SD70ACe/LCi's leading a loaded iron ore train up the BHP main pause at Spring, Western Australia just north of the FMG overpass. The first minutes of sunrise illuminate the silhouette of the train on another picture perfect day in the Pilbara.
