CHINA SHANGHAI HONGQIAO 19MAY10 - Installation of solar photovoltaic panels on the roofs of the Hongqiao Passenger Rail Terminal in Shanghai, China. There are a total of 23000 solar panels planned for the CECIC-funded project, each panel with a production capacity of 280 KWh to feed into the electricity grid.

W5, W10 and W20 refers to Water in Diesel Emulsion ( WiDE ) Fuel with 5%, 10% and 20% water contents respectively.
WiDE Fuel is essentially water ( say 10% ) blended with Diesel forming an emulsion. It is a stable ( non separating ) emulsion.
WiDE Fuel is a proven Diesel engine exhaust emission abatement technology. It reduces up to 80% black smoke opacity, 65% PMs, 25% NOx and 5% CO2. WiDE Fuel is also called ' Green Diesel '.

Farmers are not (usually) the environment hating people that some people believe they are, many farmers believe that it's important to take care of the environment. Some farmers will try to use green technology whenever possible (if it's affordable).
This is one such instance, this electric cattle fence is powered by a small solar panel. I didn't realize the fence was electric until I accidently got buzzed the other day, OUCH! That's not a delightful sensation.

The event coincided with the release of several papers authored by Swire exploring the White House’s use of Web 2.0 technology and challenges facing its implementation.

The pilot project is the first of its kind in China and consists of 34 wind turbines each with a capacity of 3 MWh. Sinovel is the largest manufacturer of wind turbines in China and the third largest worldwide.
