British designer Alkesh Parmar created a series of objects under the Cradle to Cradle philosophy. Made from dried and ground orange peels, these objects give new use to a waste material. The process keeps the lamps biodegradable, durable, and as an extra bonus, they smell fruity!

CHINA SHANGHAI HONGQIAO 19MAY10 - Installation of solar photovoltaic panels on the roofs of the Hongqiao Passenger Rail Terminal in Shanghai, China. There are a total of 23000 solar panels planned for the CECIC-funded project, each panel with a production capacity of 280 KWh to feed into the electricity grid.

Tango T600 is a miniature electric car built by Commuter Cars of Spokane, Washington state.

 

It is approximately 8'-5" (2.5m) long and 39" (1m) wide. This model costs around $108,000 (US dollars). The manufacturer has plans to produce other models with a lower price tag.
