WMR Class 153, 153375 and 170510 are seen on the approach to Bloxwich station with the 18.08 to Birmingham New Street
The sunset itself wasn't that spectacular because of the distant clouds, but the gradients with the sun below the horizon were beautiful.
Maxed out contrast and saturation in camera, added a bit more in Gimp. Brought out a little definition in the stones with curves.

Lone MGS WAG-7 # 27036 moves light towards Budni after completing its banking duties on the Budni-Barkhera ghat section with a freight, notice the steep down gradient on the UP line!
Same rooftops. Actually, this is gradient of houses to big buildings. Gradiend from redrooftops to gray tall buildings.
My 1st attempt at gradient nails and i love the results, will try different sets of colors next time

I got home from work just as the sun was setting and within a few minutes the sky turned orange. By the time I grabbed my camera, changed lenses and rushed to the kitchen terrace as the deepening azure encroached on the brilliant orange horizon.
I braced against the wall, fired off six frames, handheld. Badda boom. Day 11 put to bed. I love it when a non-plan comes together. :)
Experimental Color gradients generated using cosine waves for Red, Green and Blue color components.
Parameters for cosine wave Offset, Amplitude, Frequency and Phase have been animated for every RGB component.
Waverley Route gradient post between Melrose and Tweedbank stations with part of one of the wooden arms still in situ, 12th November, 2016.
The gradient post that stood beneath the Southcourt footbridge at the north end of Aylesbury station. The post and the bridge have now gone. I'm not sure of its provenance - it may be of GCR, LNER, GWR or Metropolitan origin. The gradient of 1:2200 seems insignificant but it is actually quite noticeable; approaching Aylesbury from the north you have to apply a couple of notches of power in order to maintain the 30mph line speed. 21st April 2003.
