POV shot from helmet.

Shot on GOPRO HD3 black

Shot with GoPro Hero HD at 1080p.

Why 1080p? We wanted a less fish-eye effect. The GoPro was mounted with the GoPro car suction mount on the front part of the engine hood.

- Converted to 720p ProRes LT (from MP4)

- No Color corrections

- Speed 300% in Final Cut

- Exported to Apple TV format

You've all probably seen the cool movies made with dogs wearing a GoPro... this is not one of those!

First, I suited up Fiona a for GoPro walk. I edited out the part where I slid down the driveway on my ass. Walk was cut short.

Next, it was Hayley's turn in the back yard. I had high hopes for some great footage because Hayley loves to run. Well, she ran right out and rolled in the snow which turned the camera mount skyward. I edited out most of that as well. Then, on her next trip out, we have a lot of snowplow nose while she ignored me doing her special 'Run, Hayley, run' whistle.

All in all, for a general failure, we had a good time.

Taken off Sea point with the GoPro hero.

#GoPro motorcycle-mounted test shooting – trip to Deer Island, Winthrop, MA

Mountain biked Meadows Canyon trail with boys this morning - love that trail so much. A mile uphill, gorgeous views of San Pablo Dam at Inspiration Point, a mile downhill, and another mile along Wildcat Creek. Short and sweet, perfect for kids building skills. Rode with a GoPro helmet mount. In this shot you can barely see the boys at top of a knotty, tree-root-strewn passage, planning a route and building up their nerves.
