With temperatures in the upper 30's and winds gusting to 40 mph, the coldest air of winter was only hours away. Obviously, pre-frontal moisture triggered a nice but brief fire sky.
Star Trails taken with my GoPro HERO6. Not as good as my DSLR, but not terrible either. I set the camera to nightlapse mode with 30 second exposures. Ended up with 150 shots in about 1.5 hours. Then, I stacked them in Starstax and used the comet effect to bring out a bit of the Milky Way. Cars going by created some light trails as well. I did some minor edits in Lightroom and got this edit! Enjoy!
Ever since I bought my GoPro Hero 3 Black Edition, I bring it with me to every adventure I go on. It's too fun!
Also, I'll be away for some time.
