Paracaidismo Skydive Cuautla-Morelos México.

I shot this with a GoPro.

My friend Scott and I were snorkeling and had a good time photographing this Green Sea Turtle which wasn’t at all bothered by our company and allowed us to swim right next to it as it went about its business. (Chelonia mydas) (GoPro 12, 1/250 second, f/2.5, ISO 100)

Using my GoPro 10, my time lapse represents about 1 hour in ~30 seconds. When viewing or photographing fire skies, many time in peaks twice, once with deep reds during the start of Blue Hour and then again with bright oranges during Golden Hour.

Never give up thinking the fire has ended when there's a chance for a 2nd show!

The left image taken with GoPro 11 night mode @ 30 seconds with iso 400 is a jpeg. The right is the same image post-processed from a raw file. Jpeg auto conversion does an okay job but if possible, always take a raw image for a more realistic capture.

The glow on the horizon is Phoenix, about an hour drive to my northwest.

Bruno: Julia, are you ready?

Julia: Yup.

Bruno: Daniel, are you ready?

Daniel: Yup.

Bruno: Alright then. On the count of three lets all run and jump into the lake yelling "We Love Summer!"

Julia: Okay. Sounds like a plan.

Daniel: Alright. Best plan you've ever had.

Bruno: Better than the time I snuck into the back of the SUV at the gas station and ate a hole in the dog food bag while dad pumped gas?

Daniel: Yes. Much Better.

Bruno: That's so good to hear. But there is one problem. I'm hungry now.

Julia: Oh, then I've got an idea. After we jump in the lake we run back up to the cabin and eat a whole pile of cookies.

Bruno: But Dad says I'm not allowed into the cabin until I dry off a bit.

Daniel: Guys, no need to worry! He's distracted with his camera. As long as we're quiet about the cookies part of the plan we can definitely pull it off!

Bruno: Oh right. Good idea. One ..... Two ..... Three ...

Julia, Bruno and Daniel: We Love Summer and Cookies!

Somehow I think Bruno is the ring leader with the kids.

The 12 hr/ 8.8 mile hike was exhausting but the views from top, equally breathtaking!

Note the Big Dipper at left and the pointer stars aligned to Polaris (North Star - near center). This ultra wide angle field of view is 170 degrees.

This time lapse ran from 3 to 4 AM (MDT).

Star Trails taken with my GoPro HERO6. Not as good as my DSLR, but not terrible either. I set the camera to nightlapse mode with 30 second exposures. Ended up with 150 shots in about 1.5 hours. Then, I stacked them in Starstax and used the comet effect to bring out a bit of the Milky Way. Cars going by created some light trails as well. I did some minor edits in Lightroom and got this edit! Enjoy!
