We stopped to take in a view of St. Mary Lake, and there just happened to be a moose swimming towards us! I've never seen a moose flat out swimming like that. She got out of the water and appeared to be injured. When she caught sight of us, she got back in the water and started swimming for the opposite shore. The lake is close to a mile wide at that point! Sure hope she made it okay.
