i got a new glucometer yesterday because my doctor had sent me a coupon to pick up an onetouch ultra2 at any pharmacy for free. (the box and manual for the ultra2 show 138, by the way... which is more realistic for me than 104!)
i still have my accu-check aviva in working condition, so i've been checking using both meters at the same time. they have been pretty consistent so far.

I pulled my old One Touch Profile out for a picture. Unfortunately I don't have any strips left for it, but the check strip is approximately the same size (it just doesn't show how much blood was needed). The One Touch Ultra 2 is about 1/3 the size, the strips are way smaller and take way less blood. Thank goodness for technology!
