A glimpse inside the new outstation premises at Luddenden Foot. This is where most of the active heritage fleet will be based. The surroundings are more conducive to showing prospective customers around.
Glimpses of Kotor, Montenegro, are available on the Ladder of Kotor track which climbs the mountain behind the city.
I am glad I took one last glimpse at this one, or I would have missed it otherwise.
I was sitting in my digital dark room and was keeping an eye on the Western skies out my window... it did not look to impressive at the time.. so I thought, well a nice one is not going to materialize this time. Well I was wrong.. for on my last glimpse, this is what I saw.
I quickly grabbed my camera and ran out my back door and captured this one.
So I learned a lesson last evening.. "always take one last glimpse" :-)

After a hosiery-free Spring & Summer, a cool evening signals the start of the stocking season.
Soon no more sleeveless dresses, shorts and sandals, instead jackets and boots and furs.
They all have their charms I suppose, but I'm really going to miss the warm weather fashions.
Oh well, any of our choices are better than what the "other" gender gets stuck wearing.

He takes one last glimpse at the final known source of cheese, high above the planet, so close yet so far.

Ebey Landing National Historical Reserve & 1900's State Heritage Park. The Bluff hike/trail is an easy hike/trail and offers stunning views of the historical farming landscape and ocean views from Whidbey Island over the Strait of Juan de Fuca. If you wish take the whole loop trail which is about 5 miles. With a long lens you can get a glimpse of Seattle's skyline. I was here in late afternoon about an hour before sundown. This area is just a small portion of the Pacific Northwest Trail.

KRUGER NATIONAL PARK is one of the largest game reserves in Africa. It covers an area of 19,485 km2 in the provinces of Limpopo and Mpumalanga in northeastern South Africa, and extends 360 km from north to south and 65 km from east to west. The administrative headquarters are in Skukuza. Areas of the park were first protected by the government of the South African Republic in 1898, and it became South Africa's first national park in 1926. To the west and south of the Kruger National Park are the two South African provinces of Limpopo and Mpumalanga. In the north is Zimbabwe, and to the east is Mozambique. It is now part of the Great Limpopo Transfrontier Park, a peace park that links Kruger National Park with the Gonarezhou National Park in Zimbabwe, and with the Limpopo National Park in Mozambique. The park is part of the Kruger to Canyons Biosphere an area designated by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) as an International Man and Biosphere Reserve (the "Biosphere").
