i know he was watching me sleep. hes just creepy like that ;) muahah or not .

theeeen showered.

and i said to cam and tavish, ohhhh guys we should make plans for tonight? and they were all 'k we're coming now' but yknow, its cam, hes dumb, so i didnt think he was serious. so i started tidying up my room, straightening my hair, and screaaaaaaming taylor swift songs at the top of my lungs, all whilst waiting for taylor's live thinger to come on

then around like 4ish, my dog starts going INSANE, so i go to see whats happening

sure enough

i wasnt wearing pants, and i was just chillin, they ruined it

i got dressed, put my hair up, then went to buy slushies, chilled at the park, uhm, theeeeeen, OH YEA, we had to go pick up krista cause she fails and didnt have a ride here. so yknow we went on a mission to cornwall/riverdale blasting eminem as loud as possible.. is that an acronym ? alap . it is now yknow, ' i want that music to be alap' or, 'you just yell alap all day every day dont you ? ' watch people. it started here first ;)

lmao, uhm, then we picked up krista, went to tavish's cause hes dumb and broke his zipper and had to change, had a chat with his mother, who had earlier creeped me on fb.. lmao great, well yknow i didnt chat with her, much, but maja nad her had a good ole mom chat.

then we went to cams.

then we went back to long sault

and richard was all

'theres a guy in the house with a justin bieber hair cut waiting for yous'

so we get inside, and brandon jacobs pops up, scared the fk outta me.. ass -__-

but he had already been upstairs apparently? cause he obvs changed my status + info box. fgt.

then we went and got ice cream

bubble gum ? win ♥

muahah oh and cute stuff

Look at it on my website

These are a few shots from a couple of weeks ago as I paddled the first bend in Horsepen Bayou and found this young bull alligator issuing threats and swimming around acting like the king of the bayou. At ten feet he may be a large gator, but he had better mind his manners if Louis shows up. Louis is Dolly main man at 13 feet this guy would beat a hasty retreat. I’ve posted a number of captures so that you can see the vibrations and bubbles created by his bellowing. If I knew how to use the movie mode in my camera I could have had some decent video as well.

I am still struggling to get caught up on the comments and will eventually get there. I am also dealing with using my old clunky keyboard as my wireless keyboard bit the dust. Quit working and the diagnosis didn’t take long when I opened it up to replace the batteries. Do Duracell batteries come in green? I guess not, but corroded ones look quite similar. We’ll have to see how well this old keyboard works. I prefer the ergo ones and this is an old Adesso which is so so, but the touch on it is not very slick. Hope everyone had a great end to the week and I hope the weekend is a wonderful time as well.

Every time I walk through these doors it reminds me of the opening and closing title sequences to the TV show Get Smart starring Don Adams! He walks at a rapid clip throug a series of doors at the hidden secret head quarters. If you are old enough to remember at the close the doors don’t open and he runs into the doors. I’m afraid that the doors might not open for me as I walk through these doors. These doors are motion activated.

I used to LOVE working out, running, weight lifting, rowing, etc. Since we live in a rural area it was cheaper to put a gym in our basement when we moved here than drive 30min each way to a gym. When I started gardening though, I didn't have time to workout and I much prefer gardening to running now, not to mention my scoliosis acts up when I run too many miles. With the possibility of a move on the horizon we decided it was the right time to get rid of the treadmill, weights, bowflex & other stuff.

May gave her all and thanks to her we had a good time. I shouted encouragement to other people's children. But every one else was calm, gentle, well mannered, and impeccably kind.

In this photo I have that high hand swing that granddads have due, I guess, to get more speed out of my fifty year-old legs. But, there is also an extent to which I feel like I am in my twenties since my weight is down to a similar level. I am utterly, sadly, strangely body size obsessed and I always have been since my teens -- well before coming to Japan. Most people grow out of it.

I think that I chose Japan as a place to live in large part because I thought it would result in a lower age to flab progression. For the time being -- abeit not continuously -- I was right, though I predict that I will let it go in the fullness of time. For the time being it seems to me that one can feel as old as ones waist size. I am wearing 31 inch trousers in this photo, and they are not tight. I can get into size 29. Of course, when I really get granddad then no matter how thin my waist is the equation will not work. But, till then... "nothing tastes as nice as skinny feels". Not that I am skinny compared to my peers at this event.

Every time I go to these sports day events I realise that many, or most, of the parents, and even grandparents, have concave bottoms - that is to say butt cheeks that curve inwards - and are perpetually in their teens. It is mind blowing. It is difficult to feel oneself to be the same species.

I read the saying "nothing tastes as good as skinny feels" as a quote attributed to Kate Moss, whose body mass index is quite typical of a Japanese mother of three, but there was also a Japanese cooking program (of which there are many since the Japanese love food!) where the announcers went to a rural Japanese village to eat some local delicacy the ingredients of which grew in the mountains. I think it may have been some kind of mushroom - I can't remember. So the announcer, and camera crew, set off with a rake thin Japanese villager, and climb up into the mountains and after a while complains, "Is it much further?" His host replies "in this neck of the woods we have a saying 'slimming is better than eating'" ("taberu yori yaseru" 食べるより痩せる). I think that while the Japanese love their food, there is in general a bit of ethos of that kind. Food is great, but being thin is even better.

One of the weaknesses of this ethos is that if one is a looong way from skinny (as I have been, and even now, by Japanese standards) then the next toffee may taste better than being slightly less plump feels. I am not sure. Let us fight the good fight, and or eat the good toffee, whichever way that works for each individual.

I've been walking in the rain just to get wet on purpose

I've been forcing myself not to forget just to feel worse

I've been getting away with it all my life (getting away)

However I look it's clear to see

That I love you more than you love me

I hate that mirror, it makes me feel so worthless

I'm an original sinner but when I'm with you I couldn't care less

I've been getting away with it all my life

Getting away with it all my life

I thought I gave up falling in love a long long time ago

I guess I like it but I can't tell you, you shouldn't really know

And it's been true all my life

Yes, it's been true all my life

I've been talking to myself just to suggest that I'm selfish

(Getting ahead)

I've been trying to impress that more is less and I'm repressed

(I should do what he said)
