GET MY DRIFT. I only made it outside yesterday to empty the compost and haul wood. The wind was busy rearranging the new snow both burying and revealing last year's sunflower stalks. I managed a few shots out the back window.
The last remaining TR-2 "tri-light" on the Flint sub, located pretty much right under Bristol Rd. in Flint is a tricky location to get a shot. Not only is it a prime spot to get reported for trespassing, but the window of light is so small. When L504 got held for Amtrak, that gave it the delay to get it just into that window of light, and for a foreign visitor that rarely makes its way into Michigan, it was worth going there to do a little cleaning in the case before they arrived.
Two or three times I was about to leave home for my daily walk but had to stop as it began to rain and at one point we had hailstones!! Then it seemed to clear up and off I went for my walk.
The rain began to stop although the wind had certainly got somewhat stronger!!

After a good trip upriver from La Crosse, westbound wayfreight H19 gets thrown into Lakeview siding to wait out several moves each way before tackling work off the mainline at Lake City, MN. This would conclude our very productive chase of the last Soo Line SD60M on a picture perfect September afternoon over a decade ago.

I shot this spot about 5 years ago and I've been meaning to return for another go ever since. If you can't get over it get under it.
Getting a bit of later start than usual, the Night Gas gets underway westbound as afternoon thunderstorms build over the mountains around Missoula. Wish I'd put on a bit heavier of a lens to bring in the mountains a bit more, but given how the first 8 days of the trip had gone anything by this point was just bonus materials.
Green Heron demonstrating proper manners bringing its food back to the breakfast table before eating it. On Horsepen Bayou.
Mind that gap Brian, we wouldn't want you to get into any difficulty playing with your tools.
An adjustable spanner for Macro Mondays theme 'Cogwheel'. The gap is 1.3 cm so the image spans 7.3 cm.
No snails were harmed in the making of this photograph.
Know your subject and when she says get back, she means it!! Keep your distance and buy a bigger lens.
No doubt there will be a genuine rush of boats out into Moreton Bay by the end of the week. It'll be bedlam on the roads but with a fine four day Easter in the forecast, most of these mostly idle boats might get a workout. The owners will buy up big on seafood at Morgan's on the far wharf before casting off for more than a three hour cruise. Scarborough Marina, City of Moreton Bay (Redcliffe), South East Queensland.
Here in The South west of England we are getting off lightly as the storm largely passes north of us.
Storm Babet batters large parts of country.
A rare red weather alert issued by the Met Office warning of a "danger to life from fast flowing or deep floodwater" has been extended until midnight on Saturday.
More disruption is expected elsewhere across the UK, with amber warnings for wind and rain issued for parts of northern England, the Midlands and northern Wales until 6am on Saturday.
The Environment Agency has issued 150 flood warnings - in areas where flooding is expected - and 194 flood alerts, where flooding is possible.

"Getting back into shape after taking time off to wallow in depression is NOT easy! Still, despite feeling like a poor job of embalming for about a week, "things" are regaining their proper shape."

For Iseult McPherson, as we gather in prayer for Ise recovering from a very intense hand surgery. Please all send prayers, and good wishes for Ise owner of I.M. Collection and a dear friend.
Lord I humbly come before you and ask that you keep angels surrounding Iseult as she recovers from her hand surgery. I ask in Your name that her healing is painless and swift, Give her the patience Lord to deal with all of the changes in her day to day life. She is your Child Lord God and I ask all in Your Precious Name....Amen.....and remember when two or more gather in HIs name miracles happen.
Love you tons

The agents are tasked with taking down a powerful criminal organization that has eluded the authorities for years. This group is notoriously elusive and their leader, known only as "The Phantom," is a master of disguise and deception. Despite the agents' best efforts, they just can't seem to get close to him.
As the agents dig deeper, they begin to uncover a web of corruption that goes all the way to the top of the government. They realize that they can't trust anyone and must rely solely on their own skills and instincts to bring down the organization....
