All the photos I present were taken in the town of Taormina;
I made photos related to "street photography";
I photographed people who, for the most part, I had never met before, performing their portraits, I thank them for their sympathy and availability;
The volcano Etna, in recent days has shown an intense eruptive activity, even with intense phenomena called "lava fountains", continuous jet emissions persisted intensely for many minutes, of very high "fountains" of incandescent magma, very spectacular and uncommon, in particular, which took place on 23-02 at night, it reached exceptional dimensions and heights; I photographed that spectacular eruptions using a telephoto lens, from Taormina; I photographed Jakub Rizman, an excellent harp player, who spread sweet notes throughout the main square of Taormina, creating a fairytale atmosphere (on YouTube I found some musical performances of him);
these are just a few minimal photographic stories, collected walking down the street ... in search of fleeting moments ...
For some photographs I used a particular photographic technique at the time of shooting, which in addition to capturing the surrounding space, also "inserted" a temporal dimension, with photos characterized by being moved because the exposure times were deliberately lengthened, they are confused -focused-imprecise-undecided ... the Anglo-Saxon term that encloses this photographic genre with a single word is "blur", these images were thus created during the shooting phase, and not as an effect created subsequently, in retrospect, in the post-production.

Tutte le foto che presento sono state realizzate nella cittadina di Taormina;
ho realizzato foto riconducibili alla “street photography”;
ho fotografato persone che, per la maggior parte, non avevo incontrato prima, eseguendo dei loro ritratti, le ringrazio per la loro simpatia e disponibilità;
il vulcano Etna, nei giorni scorsi ha mostrato una intensa attività eruttiva, anche con intensi fenomeni chiamati "fontane di lava", emissioni a getto continuo perdurate intensamente per molti minuti, di altissime "fontane" di magma incandescente, molto spettacolari e non comuni, una in particolare, avvenuta il 23-02 di notte, ha raggiunto dimensioni e altezze eccezionali; ho fotografato da Taormina quelle spettacolari eruzioni, usando un teleobiettivo; ho fotografato Jakub Rizman, un eccellente suonatore d'arpa, che ha diffuso dolcissime note per tutta la piazza principale di Taormina, creando un'atmosfera da favola (su YouTube ho trovato alcune sue esibizioni musicali);
sono queste solo alcune storie fotografiche minime, raccolte camminando per la strada ... alla ricerca di attimi fugaci s-fuggenti ...
Ho utilizzato per alcune fotografie una tecnica fotografica particolare al momento dello scatto, che oltre a catturare lo spazio circostante, ha "inserito" anche una dimensione temporale, con foto caratterizzate dall’essere mosse poiché volutamente sono stati allungati i tempi di esposizione, sono confuse-sfocate-imprecise-indecise...il termine anglosassone che racchiude con una sola parola questo genere fotografico è "blur", queste immagini sono state così realizzate in fase di scatto, e non come un effetto creato successivamente, a posteriori, in fase di post-produzione.

La cascata Seljalandsfoss,una delle più belle cascate dell'Islanda sud occidentale.
Seljalandsfoss è una splendida cascata visibile anche dalla strada principale, ed è facilmente accessibile. L'acqua salta da una scarpata rocciosa e si tuffa in un piccolo laghetto. Si può anche passare dietro il getto della cascata camminando lungo un sentiero che passa vicino la roccia.

Seljalandsfoss is a beautiful waterfall visible from the main road, and is easily accessible. Water jumps from a rocky escarpment and dives in a small pond. You can also go behind the spray of the waterfall walking along a trail passing by the rock.

I made photos related to "street photography";
I photographed people who, for the most part, I had never met before, performing their portraits, I thank them for their sympathy and availability;
The volcano Etna, in recent days has shown an intense eruptive activity, even with intense phenomena called "lava fountains", continuous jet emissions persisted intensely for many minutes, of very high "fountains" of incandescent magma, very spectacular and uncommon, in particular, which took place on 23-02 at night, it reached exceptional dimensions and heights; I photographed that spectacular eruptions using a telephoto lens, from Taormina; I photographed Jakub Rizman, an excellent harp player, who spread sweet notes throughout the main square of Taormina, creating a fairytale atmosphere (on YouTube I found some musical performances of him);
these are just a few minimal photographic stories, collected walking down the street ... in search of fleeting moments ...
For some photographs I used a particular photographic technique at the time of shooting, which in addition to capturing the surrounding space, also "inserted" a temporal dimension, with photos characterized by being moved because the exposure times were deliberately lengthened, they are confused -focused-imprecise-undecided ... the Anglo-Saxon term that encloses this photographic genre with a single word is "blur", these images were thus created during the shooting phase, and not as an effect created subsequently, in retrospect, in the post-production.

I made photos related to "street photography";
I photographed people who, for the most part, I had never met before, performing their portraits, I thank them for their sympathy and availability;
The volcano Etna, in recent days has shown an intense eruptive activity, even with intense phenomena called "lava fountains", continuous jet emissions persisted intensely for many minutes, of very high "fountains" of incandescent magma, very spectacular and uncommon, in particular, which took place on 23-02 at night, it reached exceptional dimensions and heights; I photographed that spectacular eruptions using a telephoto lens, from Taormina; I photographed Jakub Rizman, an excellent harp player, who spread sweet notes throughout the main square of Taormina, creating a fairytale atmosphere (on YouTube I found some musical performances of him);
these are just a few minimal photographic stories, collected walking down the street ... in search of fleeting moments ...
For some photographs I used a particular photographic technique at the time of shooting, which in addition to capturing the surrounding space, also "inserted" a temporal dimension, with photos characterized by being moved because the exposure times were deliberately lengthened, they are confused -focused-imprecise-undecided ... the Anglo-Saxon term that encloses this photographic genre with a single word is "blur", these images were thus created during the shooting phase, and not as an effect created subsequently, in retrospect, in the post-production.

ho fotografato persone che, per la maggior parte, non avevo incontrato prima, eseguendo dei loro ritratti, le ringrazio per la loro simpatia e disponibilità;
il vulcano Etna, nei giorni scorsi ha mostrato una intensa attività eruttiva, anche con intensi fenomeni chiamati "fontane di lava", emissioni a getto continuo perdurate intensamente per molti minuti, di altissime "fontane" di magma incandescente, molto spettacolari e non comuni, una in particolare, avvenuta il 23-02 di notte, ha raggiunto dimensioni e altezze eccezionali; ho fotografato da Taormina quelle spettacolari eruzioni, usando un teleobiettivo; ho fotografato Jakub Rizman, un eccellente suonatore d'arpa, che ha diffuso dolcissime note per tutta la piazza principale di Taormina, creando un'atmosfera da favola (su YouTube ho trovato alcune sue esibizioni musicali);
sono queste solo alcune storie fotografiche minime, raccolte camminando per la strada ... alla ricerca di attimi fugaci s-fuggenti ...

De Nieuwe Joodse Begraafplaats (Pools: Nowy cmentarz żydowski w Łodzi) is een begraafplaats in Łódź, Polen. Het was ooit de grootste Joodse begraafplaats van het land en een van de grootste ter wereld. In 1892 werd het terrein, dat ongeveer 44 hectare land beslaat, geopend. Er zijn tussen de 180.000 en 230.000 gemarkeerde graven te vinden, evenals massagraven van slachtoffers uit het getto van Łódź tijdens WOII.

Il castello di Bamburgh si trova a Bamburgh, sulle coste del Northumberland, in Inghilterra. La posizione era probibilmente la sede di un precedente forte dei Britanni. I Normanni costruirono un nuovo castello sul sito, che costituisce il nucleo di quella attuale. Nel 1464 durante la Guerra delle Rose, è diventato il primo castello in Inghilterra per essere sconfitto dall’artiglieria. Il castello è stato utilizzato come location cinematografica dagli anni ‘20, in film come Ivanhoe (1982), El Cid (1961), Maria Stuarda (1971), Elizabeth (1998) e per gli adattamenti del Macbeth del 1971 e 2015.
C'è un famoso racconto qui, la signora in rosa del castello di Bamburgh. Questa era una principessa della Northumbria e si innamorò di un ragazzo, che suo padre disapprovava a tal punto da spedirlo all'estero per sette anni.
La ragazza era sempre più disperata per questa lontananza e suo padre, in un ultimo tentativo di risolvere il problema, le disse che le sue spie avevano scoperto che il ragazzo si era sposato, mentre di stanza all'estero. Per tirarle su il morale dopo questa notizia fece confezionare alla sarta del castello un abito in colore preferito della ragazza; rosa. La ragazza vestita nella sua nuova veste, salì allora sulla parte più alta del merli del castello e si gettò giù sulle rocce sottostanti. Poco dopo il ragazzo tornò dall'estero, celibe, naturalmente. Ogni sette anni, si suppone che lo spettro, nel suo bel vestito rosa vaghi per le parti più antiche del castello, prima di scivolare lungo il sentiero roccioso fino alla spiaggia, dove si guarda tristemente verso il mare, in attesa del ritorno del suo amore perduto.
Bamburgh Castle is located on the coast at Bamburgh, Northumberland, England. The location was previously home to a fort of the native Britons
The Normans built a new castle on the site, which forms the core of the present one. In 1464 during the Wars of the Roses, it became the first castle in England to be defeated by artillery. The castle has been used as a film location since the 1920s, featuring in films such as Ivanhoe (1982), El Cid (1961), Mary, Queen of Scots (1971), Elizabeth (1998) and both the 1971 and 2015 adaptions of Macbeth.
There is a famous tale here, the Pink Lady of Bamburgh Castle. She was a Northumbrian princess and she fell in love with a boy, whom her father disapproved of so sent him overseas for seven years.
The girl became more and more downhearted at this separation and in a final attempt to resolve the issue, her father told her that his spies had discovered that the boy had married someone else whilst stationed abroad and that, to cheer her up after this news, the castle seamstress would fashion a dress in the girl’s favourite colour; pink. The girl dressed in her new garment, climbed to the highest part of the castle’s battlements and flung herself down onto the rocks below.
A little while later the boy returned from his station abroad. Unmarried, of course.
Every seven years the process, in her beautiful pink gown is supposed to wander the oldest parts of the castle, before gliding down the rocky path to the beach, where she mournfully gazes out to sea. Awaiting the return of her lost love.
Niagara falls show the nice side of the city...They are not telling you all the truth. It has getto's and bad hoods. Niagara falls, ny is a lot worser then buffalo, ny.
I was shot out of this building about month ago. I didn't get hit or anything.

The Town Hall in Lesko - the building is situated in the middle of the old town market square. It was built in 1896. It is a two-story building with a clock tower. It represents an eclectic style. Above the entrance, there is the Lesko coat of arms from the period of the original town owners - Kmita.
Lesko (until 1931 - Lisko) is a town in south-eastern Poland, located on the San river, in the Sanocko-Turczańskie Mountains. Lesko was probably founded in the fourteenth century; records first mention it in 1436. It was granted its town charter in approximately 1470, when it was owned by the Kmita family. In the seventeenth century, the town was quite an important centre of trade and craftsmanship, with approximately 1,500 inhabitants. Its heyday ended in 1704, when it was looted by the Swedish troops during the Great Northern War. In 1772, following the First Partition of Poland, the town was located in the Austrian Empire (from 1867 Austria-Hungary) until Poland regained its independence in 1918. During the Second World War, after the town was occupied by Nazi Germany in 1941, its Jewish community (about 60% of the town's population) perished in the Holocaust. The town was liberated from the Germans by the Red Army in September, 1944. The city and its economy only started to recover in the 1950s, after a government program encouraging people from other areas of Poland to settle there. Currently Lesko is a gateway to the Bieszczady Mountains. The city has numerous outdoor recreational clubs.

Spacerujemy po Lesku. Pośrodku zdjęcia widoczny ratusz miejski :)
Ratusz w Lesku – budowla usytuowana pośrodku rynku starego miasta. Został wybudowany w 1896. Jest to piętrowy budynek z wieżą zegarową. Reprezentuje styl eklektyczny. Nad wejściem umieszczony jest herb Leska z okresu pierwotnych właścicieli miasta – Kmitów.
Lesko (do 1931 roku Lisko) – miasto w woj. podkarpackim, położone nad Sanem, na obszarze Gór Sanocko-Turczańskich. Osada na terenie Leska powstała prawdopodobnie w XIV wieku, pierwsza wzmianka o niej pochodzi z 1436. Około 1470 Lesko otrzymało prawa miejskie nadane przez Kmitów, którzy nadali miastu herb Szreniawa i krzyż maltański. W 1477 Jan Kmita nadal miastu prawo magdeburskie. Lesko przeżywało okres największego rozwoju trwający do pierwszej połowy XVII wieku. W tym czasie było ono ważnym ośrodkiem handlu, rzemiosła i kultury lokalnej. Rozkwit miasta zakończył się w 1704 roku, kiedy zostało ono splądrowane przez wojska szwedzkie podczas III Wojny Północnej. Od 1772 Lesko znalazło się pod zaborem austriackim, aż do odzyskania przez Polskę niepodległości w 1918 roku. W czasie II wojny światowej hitlerowcy utworzyli na terenie miasta przejściowe getto, z którego kierowali obywateli narodowości żydowskiej do obozów zagłady. Miasto zostało wyzwolone 15 września 1944 roku przez oddziały sowieckie wchodzące w skład 1 Armii Gwardyjskiej 4 Frontu Ukraińskiego. Od połowy lat 50-tych, po wdrożeniu przez rząd specjalnego programu zasiedlania i zagospodarowania Bieszczadów, rozpoczął się stopniowy rozwój miasta.

All the photos I present were taken in the town of Taormina;
I made photos related to "street photography";
I photographed people who, for the most part, I had never met before, performing their portraits, I thank them for their sympathy and availability;
The volcano Etna, in recent days has shown an intense eruptive activity, I photographed that spectacular eruptions from Taormina;
I tried to capture minimal photographic stories, collected walking down the street .. ... in search of fleeting moments ...
For some photographs I used a particular photographic technique at the time of shooting, which in addition to capturing the surrounding space, also "inserted" a temporal dimension, with photos characterized by being moved because the exposure times were deliberately lengthened, they are confused -focused-imprecise-undecided ... the Anglo-Saxon term that encloses this photographic genre with a single word is "blur", these images were thus created during the shooting phase, and not as an effect created subsequently, in retrospect, in the post-production.

Tutte le foto che presento sono state realizzate nella cittadina di Taormina;
ho realizzato foto riconducibili alla “street photography”;
ho fotografato persone che, per la maggior parte, non avevo incontrato prima, eseguendo dei loro ritratti, le ringrazio per la loro simpatia e disponibilità;
il vulcano Etna, nei giorni scorsi ha mostrato una intensa attività eruttiva, anche con intensi fenomeni chiamati "fontane di lava", emissioni a getto continuo perdurate intensamente per molti minuti, di altissime "fontane" di magma incandescente, molto spettacolari e non comuni, le fotografie dell'Etna sono state realizzate da Taormina;
ho provato a cogliere storie fotografiche minime, raccolte camminando per la strada ... alla ricerca di attimi fugaci s-fuggenti ...
Ho utilizzato per alcune fotografie una tecnica fotografica particolare al momento dello scatto, che oltre a catturare lo spazio circostante, ha "inserito" anche una dimensione temporale, con foto caratterizzate dall’essere mosse poiché volutamente sono stati allungati i tempi di esposizione, sono confuse-sfocate-imprecise-indecise...il termine anglosassone che racchiude con una sola parola questo genere fotografico è "blur", queste immagini sono state così realizzate in fase di scatto, e non come un effetto creato successivamente, a posteriori, in fase di post-produzione.

Le bassin de Latone résulte de la volonté de Louis XIV de créer, au centre de son Jardin, une fontaine qui raconte l’enfance d’Apollon, le dieu-soleil qu’il s’est choisi pour emblème. Pour créer cette fontaine, Louis XIV fait transformer un bassin creusé par Louis XIII en y installant progressivement des jeux d’eau et des décors sculptés par les frères Marsy. Le bassin de Latone connaît plusieurs états avant d’épouser sa forme actuelle. En 1667, il est la fontaine aux Crapauds. De 1668 à 1670, un premier bassin de Latone apparaît ; Latone est alors au même niveau que les autres figures et tournée vers le Château. De 1687 à 1689, Jules Hardouin-Mansart crée le bassin actuel, en faisant faire un demi-tour à Latone et en la hissant au sommet d’une pyramide de marbre.

The volcano Etna, in recent days has shown an intense eruptive activity, even with intense phenomena called "lava fountains", continuous jet emissions persisted intensely for many minutes, of very high "fountains" of incandescent magma, very spectacular and uncommon, in particular, which took place on 23-02 at night, it reached exceptional dimensions and heights; I photographed that spectacular eruptions using a telephoto lens, from Taormina; I photographed Jakub Rizman, an excellent harp player, who spread sweet notes throughout the main square of Taormina, creating a fairytale atmosphere (on YouTube I found some musical performances of him);

sono queste solo alcune storie fotografiche minime, raccolte camminando per la strada ... alla ricerca di attimi fugaci s-fuggenti ...
