We've had plenty of rain here overnight and it's still pouring down at dawn this morning. There's five millimeters reading on our automated rain gauge since midday yesterday. The happy snap is of our cocker spaniel Millie wearing a doggie fascinator made from geraniums currently flowering in our garden. Our talented-florist daughter Kylie created it yesterday. Every dog can look more beautiful with flowers.
Geranium - 2 star Michelin restaurant in Copenhagen. The chef Rasmus Kofoed is the record keeper of Bocuse d'Or, the most well-known world culinary contest - the winner of Bronze, Silver, and Gold awards.
The dinner at Geranium in last Dec. was one of the most impressive meal I had in last year. I took a lot of photos during the meal. Please enjoy this incredible food show.

On May 11, 2016, I made my second visit to Bartholomew's Cobble in Sheffield, Massachusetts, USA. It is a wonderland of wildflowers in the springtime! I was delayed by schedule & weather & missed the Dutchman's Breeches, this year, but the red & white Trillium, yellow violets, ferns, red Columbine & Miterwort, among others, were spectacular! Everywhere one looked, the landscape was blanketed in flowers! One of twelve images. I was thrilled to see this lovely example of Wild Geranium!
Education Dept opened first Geranium Plain school 15 May 1894, closed 1900. Cairn on Geranium Plain Rd. The second state school was at St Stephen’s Lutheran church 1901-1917. In 1917 the children were transferred to Lower Bright school. This building on Section 12 Hd Bright, 3 km east of the Lower Bright St Martin’s Lutheran church, had been a Lutheran school, but re-opened as the Geranium Plain state school, closed 31 Dec 1947.
