the walls curved, a silent wave of stone and light. each opening a glimpse, or perhaps a trap. a woman sat, a small anchor in a vast design. she waited, not for anything specific, but for the next moment to unfold within the great, structured silence. the light painted patterns, constantly shifting, always the same. a brief pause in a relentless flow.
